Your Role
As an Information Security & Compliance Manager at RoomPriceGenie , you'll enter an exciting, fast-paced role at a rapidly growing B2B SaaS company. You'll work directly with the CTO and management. Your first big project will coordinate our efforts to get the ISO27001 certification.
- Drive our security strategy and roadmap: Develop and implement practical, scalable security and compliance policies and procedures that align with our rapid growth and business objectives.
- Lead our security and compliance efforts: Proactively identify and mitigate security risks across our infrastructure, applications, and data.
- Be the go-to person: manage stakeholders like internal and external auditors, certification companies, German authorities or similar
- Architect and implement security solutions: Evaluate, deploy, and manage security tools and technologies that fit our evolving needs, focusing on cloud security.
- Navigate the compliance landscape: Ensure we meet relevant regulatory requirements and industry best practices in a pragmatic way.
- Empower our teams with security awareness: Foster a balanced security-first culture through engaging training and communication.
- Lead incident response efforts: Develop and execute effective plans to handle and learn from security incidents.
- Collaborate closely with the IT Ops team: Integrate security seamlessly into our IT landscape and lifecycle.
- Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously research the latest threats and trends to keep our defences strong
- You have a solid understanding of information security principles and best practices and 1+ years of relevant experience, e.g., gained in Big4, IT consulting, or a fast-growing startup or scale-up.
- We do not need someone super senior since the hotel software industry has no specific regulations. It's a fairly standard use case, but we take security very seriously and want to demonstrate this to our customers.
- You have solid experience with the ISO27001 certification
- You're familiar with cloud security (AWS) and the security challenges of modern web applications.
- You have a proven track record of implementing and managing security controls and technologies.
- You're comfortable with risk assessment, vulnerability management, and incident response processes.
- You're a strong communicator who can explain technical security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences at various levels.
- You're fluent in English.
- You have a proactive, hands-on mentality and are excited to build and shape security in a dynamic startup environment.

**Team / Role Overview**
The Data Governance Foundation Lead Analyst is responsible for contributing to the directional strategy and assisting in creation and modification of Enterprise Data Governance Strategy, and/or Data Risk and Control Framework and Data Risk Taxonomy. The focus of this role may be on one or more of the following areas: assisting in identification, measurement and reporting, data policy adoption and compliance, data controls framework performance and issue management process, and regulatory and audit response and action tracking.
This role requires someone who is dynamic, flexible, and can easily respond to quickly changing needs. The candidate must have the ability to handle ambiguity and complexity and be able to deliver on multiple responsibilities. Developed communication and diplomacy skills are required in order to guide, influence and convince others.
**What you will do:**
+ Partner with multiple teams to implement relevant Data Governance policies and/or Data Risk and Control framework
+ Provide expertise on Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls framework including design, effectiveness, performance monitoring and self-assessment processes
+ Oversight and analysis of data-related issues, tracking of ownership and target dates and associated metrics and reporting
+ Support and coordinate with business lines and global functions on enterprise Data Governance strategy roll out, including new Data risk taxonomy and associated changes to key risk indicators and control framework
+ Gather and synthesize metrics on existing Data Governance and/or Data Risk and Controls principles, policies, practices and standards, e.g., understanding industry best practices
+ Produce recommendations for enterprise-wide guiding principles, policies, processes and practices
+ Determine requirements for and prioritize development of new enterprise-wide principles, policies, processes and practices as needed
+ Develop and manage approach for measuring adoption of principles, policies, processes and practices
**What we'll need from you** :
+ Relevant experience in a Data Governance/ Data Management/ Process Engineering or related area
+ Advanced understanding of Project Management methodologies and tools
+ Requires basic commercial awareness
+ Ability to monitor tight deadlines or unexpected requirement changes, with the ability to anticipate and balance needs of multiple stakeholders
+ Ability to communicate effectively to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences

+ Managing McAfee's PCI DSS 4.0 compliance program.
+ Supporting additional compliance frameworks including ISO2700X, SOC 2 Type II and HIPAA.
+ Working with stakeholders across McAfee to facilitate internal compliance assessments aligned to industry standards including NIST CSF.
+ Working with stakeholders in Sales and Procurement to meet partner expectations, including responding to customer security requests and reviewing contractual agreements.

+ Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the same field.
+ PCI ISA or QSA.
