Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in power system analysis and design
- Proficiency in using power system analysis software, such as ETAP, PSS®E, or DIgSILENT PowerFactory and PSCAD.
- Experience with transmission and distribution systems, generation, renewable energy and energy storage systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex technical data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer (or working towards) with a recognized body
- Experience in substation design and protection system coordination
- Knowledge of renewable energy integration and distributed generation technologies
- 3 years of experience directly related to data center or mission critical facility design.

Follow all relevant SOP's and procedures when completing maintenance tasks Ensure all works executed are recorded on the relevant CMMS systems Acute awareness of GMP practices. Ability to read mechanical drawings and system P&ID's Maintain all documentation in an organized and controlled manner, in compliance with client procedures Attend daily meeting and provide status updates. ` Have excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills, which above all, pose no risk to health and secondly provide no potential risk to any systems. Demonstrate ownership and show initiative to resolve issues in a timely manner in a high paced, schedule driven environment Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and to ensure compliance with codes. Must have a working knowledge of pump rebuilds, bearing and seal changes, etc Ability to read mechanical drawings and P&ID's An ability to work independently and as a member of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and the ability to remain calm and focused when dealing with multiple tasks. Title:Electrical Utilities Technician Contract Duration/Employment Type:Permanent Location:Dunboyne, Co Meath Hybrid/Onsite:Onsite Hours: 39 Hours per week Overview of the role: The utilities technician is responsible for monitoring, operating and first line maintenance of the Utilities equipment in a cGMP environment, in the relevant area and in accordance with relevant site Standard Operating Procedures and Engineering Work Instructions. The Day technician is responsible for the execution of the day-to-day tasks as per requirements. Duties of the Role include; Monitoring relevant control systems for GMP and Non GMP alarms. Responsible for escalation of alarms in accordance with relevant escalation procedures and SOP's. Investigating alarms as per relevant procedures. Operating utilities equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures. Operating utilities equipment to maintain high standard of plant uptime in support of Contract KPI's. Carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance in accordance with site maintenance procedures. Carrying out technical investigation. Carrying out field round's and readings of utilities equipment. Participate in maintaining high standard of housekeeping and safety. Review permit to work before signing off. Act as lockout coordinator for Control of Hazardous Energy. Work with vendors and third-party contractors as required. Collaborate with maintenance and calibration teams on the execution of scheduled calibrations, corrective and preventative work as required to meet contact deliverables. Ensure complete execution on time of all operations and maintenance activities on specific utilities equipment. Carry out the review of Utilities Standard Operating Procedures and work instructions as required. Manage own training curricula. To liase with the engineering and commissioning teams on all Utilities Equipment. Raise reports as required, including safety. Actively improve equipment and process knowledge. Required skills for this role; Electrical qualification is essential 2-3 years experience. Worked as part of a Maintenance Team Knowledge of Utilities Systems as per the below. Worked in a Pharmaceutical, Brewery, Dairy and Food Industry. Worked in a regulated Industry (FDA, IMB, NSAI) Good working knowledge of preventative maintenance programs for a wide range of plant equipment: Proven capability of working with Pumps, HVAC systems, Air Compressors, Steam Boilers and Steam Systems ancillary services, Domestic Hot Water, Refrigerant Chillers, Cooling towers, Clean Steam Boilers, Purified Water Systems, Sterilization Systems, Low Voltage electrical systems, PLC's, Building Management Systems, Understanding of Basic Instrumentation.
