You'll be providing legal support and advice as part of ICON's Global Employment Law team regarding all aspects of employment law matters. As the legal expert to our Human Resources teams, you'll be advising on matters relating to employee relations, internal investigations, policies and procedures.
Although your aligned region will be EMEA, there will be opportunity to be involved in employment law globally.
**Responsibilities will include:**
+ Advising on a wide range of employment law issues to Human Resources team across EMEA on a range of employment law issues including recruiting, hiring, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, leaves of absence, contingent workforces, and other employment-related matters.
+ Drafting and advising on employment-related agreements, guidelines, contracts, benefits plans, and policies.

+ Ability to synthesize large volumes of information and present concise, commercial conclusions and recommendations to the business.

The Role This position will leverage your expertise in employment tax, social security, and personal income tax to provide strategic guidance to clients on the complexities of cross-border employment. Key Responsibilities Advise tax, payroll, finance, and HR teams on the tax and social security implications of global mobility programs. Develop and implement workforce tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency. Provide strategic guidance on global mobility policies and their tax considerations. Oversee tax aspects of global mobility, including equalization, protection, and compliance planning. Manage and resolve tax disputes related to international employment. Assess and mitigate permanent establishment risks across multiple jurisdictions. Work closely with legal teams to ensure employment law and tax compliance. Deliver training sessions on global workforce tax matters for clients and internal stakeholders. Build and maintain strong client relationships to support long-term business growth.
