You will ensure that all deadlines are met and that 100% accuracy is maintained across all administration tasks.

What you'll do

  • Being the point of contact between in-house and media agency any digital activity needed to manage campaigns, including reporting, uploading and monitoring
  • Weekly meetings with internal Digital Production & Social Media Teams to finalised paid digital calendar
  • Quickly becoming an expert with the guidance of senior members in ad platforms to take on more responsibilities
  • Monitoring budgets, media spend and performance pacing across many different social platforms
  • Running quality assurance checks against media agency campaign set ups, to ensure all social ads are set up according to best practices
  • Monitoring the competitive environment and reporting findings to internal teams
  • Project manage small campaigns from start to finish with media partners, to ensure activity including native, display, social, video or events meet briefing and delivery deadlines.
  • Work with the buying teams across Food and Non-Food to identify key hero items that we'd like to push in store through media activations.
  • Working with many different teams, verticals and platforms at the same time providing recommendations and solving technical challenges
  • Pulling reports and setting up dashboard reports as needed
  • Developing insights and recommendations on changes to make in campaigns to improve performance
  • Assist Senior Media Manager with native content, paid social media planning, content and reporting
  • Manage part of the media team's billing and PO process

The Marketing and Communications team is responsible for internal and external communication with our teams in Ireland, the UK and Northern Europe as well as our extensive customer base and other stakeholders.

Consisting of 8 companies, the successful candidate will need excellent time management and prioritisation skills and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning, production and delivery of a diverse range of video content
  • Collaborate with clients, group companies and across departments to scope, organise and execute projects independently, managing everything from pre-production planning and logistics to on-site filming, drone operations, editing, publishing and video quality control
  • Film high-quality video content for a variety of projects, including case studies, product demos and promos, interviews and social media content
  • Travel to site or other group companies across Ireland and the UK as required for projects
  • Manage and utilise EPS Group's in-house video and audio recording studio (Mallow, Co. Cork)
  • Ensure that all videos are delivered on time and to the desired specifications
  • Manage video and audio file management, ensuring they are organised and easy to access for future use
  • Stay up to date with the latest video production trends, software and techniques
  • Support the Marketing & Communications team with content strategy, video best practices and creative input

Key Competencies and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Videographer, with a portfolio that showcases your skills and creativity
  • Expertise in video editing software, Adobe Premiere Pro (essential) with working knowledge of Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator and DaVinci Resolve is preferred but not essential
  • Strong understanding of cinematography, lighting, audio recording, and storytelling techniques
  • Experience operating Sony cameras, Blackmagic systems, DJI drones, Sennheiser audio equipment, Zoom recorders, and Aputure lighting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to manage the full production process independently, from planning to final delivery
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Full, clean driving licence with willingness to travel extensively across Ireland, the UK and further afield
  • Drone operation experience (licence/certification is a plus)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production or a related field is preferred

This role will form part of the Commercial team and reports to the Group Head of Digital. The successful candidate will be a confident people person who can fit into Applegreen seamlessly and adopt a hands-on approach to their role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social strategy aligned with the business objectives.

  • Manage and execute organic social calendars supporting internal stakeholders and partner brands.

  • Manage and execute paid social media campaigns across multiple social platforms.

  • Manage the paid digital media strategy.

  • Own the digital advertising budget providing detailed forecasting and performance analysis.

The Candidate should have the following:

Qualifications, experience & skills

  • In depth, hands on experience with key platforms:

o Paid: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, DSPs.

o Organic: Content scheduling and analytics for Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and TikTok. (e.g Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Emplifi etc).

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, concise and actionable insights. (Google Analytics, Excel, data visualisation tools).

  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful paid media campaigns across multiple platforms.

Role Introduction:

Established in 1992, Applegreen is a leading convenience roadside retailer in the Republic of Ireland, the UK and the US in both large-scale Motorway Service Areas and Travel Plazas, as well as smaller petrol stations. The business has grown to over €3BN in annual revenue, operating 600 Motorway Service Plazas and forecourt sites internationally and employing over 16,000 people.

Applegreen is in a rapid growth phase and to support this ambitious growth, we are seeking to onboard a Group Senior Social and Digital Media Manager, to join our new team.

This role will form part of the Commercial team and reports to the Group Head of Digital. The successful candidate will be a confident people person who can fit into Applegreen seamlessly and adopt a hands-on approach to their role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social strategy aligned with the business objectives.
  • Manage and execute organic social calendars supporting internal stakeholders and partner brands.
  • Manage and execute paid social media campaigns across multiple social platforms.
  • Manage the paid digital media strategy.
  • Own the digital advertising budget providing detailed forecasting and performance analysis.
  • Utilise data and analytics tools to track performance, generate actionable insights and present key finding to stakeholders.
  • Support the creative team by providing data-driven insights and direction on creative assets.
  • Support the group digital strategy from concept through to implementation and ongoing continuous improvement.

The Candidate should have the following:

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

  • 6+ years in a social and digital media role, gained within a customer-centric B2C environment (Agency or in-house).
  • In depth, hands on experience with key platforms:
  • Paid: Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, DSPs.
  • Organic: Content scheduling and analytics for Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn and TikTok. (e.g Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Emplifi etc).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into clear, concise and actionable insights. (Google Analytics, Excel, data visualisation tools).
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful paid media campaigns across multiple platforms.

  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunities and convert them into business growth.
