**Purpose of the position:**
As an Electrical Engineering Supervisor, the main purpose will be to plan, direct and manage the operations of the electrical function to ensure maximum efficiency from all plant equipment, by means of planned preventative maintenance, continuous improvement and modifications to equipment, while ensuring full support is provided to production 24/7.
You will be responsible for ensuring that all electricians are suitably trained, including safety and work to company and legislative safety requirements.

Basic Qualifications
- Degree in an Electrical Engineering plus a cumulative of experience with power systems and mission critical electrical design.
- Excellent understanding of the European Electrical Codes coupled with detailed understanding of critical LV, MV and HV electrical equipment.
- Understanding of relays, protections schemes, high-voltage circuit breakers, power and distribution transformers electrical switchgear, grounding and earthing and the ability to research new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.
- Ability to carry new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment/construction plus the ability to perform complex business case analysis to justify technical decisions and present the justification to management in a high level review.
Preferred Qualifications
- Chartered Engineer with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and experience directly related to data center or mission critical facility design.
- Previous consultant negotiation and management skills associated with design, construction and project managing of fast track design/build projects and or multiple significant upgrade projects.
- Extensive knowledge of building codes and regulations and an ability and willingness to think outside of the box to find creative and innovative solutions to reduce costs with no impact on quality, reliability, or maintainability.
- Possess leadership and problem solving skills as a motivated, highly dependable individual.

- Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
- Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
- Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
- Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance

We are looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. A Data Center Engineering Operations Technician role is a hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation responder. If you like to use apply your electrical and mechanical skills to solve problems, we'd like to meet you. Your work will help to maintain one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.
Key job responsibilities
SAFETY
Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster strong safety culture.
ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
- Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS's), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.
- Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA's)
- Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
- Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
- Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with health & safety regulations).
- Ability to work shifts

Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of safe electrical practices according to guidelines set by relevant electrical safety supervisory bodies (e.g., ECSSAI and RECI in Ireland)
- Professional Electrical or Mechanical Certification (National Craft Certificate (NCC), Registered Electrical Contractor (REC), or equivalent) or a level 6 engineering qualification
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of key electrical competencies and theory
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Knowledge of BMS and EPMS control systems and data collection/trending

The Verification and Validation Engineer is responsible for the execution of design verification and design validation testing in support of product lifecycle management and new product development.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Develops new or optimizes existing physical test methods and test fixtures to support the design verification, validation and commercialization of new medical device products and changes to existing products.
+ Drafts engineering technical reports, test method work instructions or procedures and test method validation related documents.
+ Leads/executes test method validation (TMV), design verification and test method transfer, in support of product design verification or validation
+ Authors design verification protocols to satisfy product design inputs/system requirements, that satisfy applicable Quality System (QS) and regulatory requirements
+ Manages and tracks product configurations through design verification and validation
+ Performs hands-on and simulated testing for design verification and test method developments
+ Conducts functional and performance testing of products to ensure that the product and its components meet the required specifications
+ Identifies and reports out of specification results, data, and atypical/unexpected events that occur during testing activities and supports associated investigations, impact assessments and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
**Educational Requirements:**
+ Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Engineering
+ 3+ years of professional experience in the medical device, pharmaceutical or life sciences field.
**Relevant Experience:**
+ Applied experience in developing and qualifying test systems and methods in support of product development and launch (IQ, OQ, Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), etc.)
+ Experience with executing Design Verification
+ Experience in statistical data analysis methods / tools, e.g.: Gage R&R, Hypothesis Testing
+ Experience solving problems, provides detailed insight and constructive criticism in complex situations, and foresees problems along with potential solutions

+ Disciplined and well organized
+ Excellent multi-tasking, analytical, communication, and prioritization skills.
