What You Will Be Doing
- You’ll be working on a wide range of projects enabling you to develop your understanding of developing sustainable design solutions for waste infrastructure.
- You’ll have the opportunity to gain knowledge and experience from working with senior colleagues across RPS business units (e.g., Energy, Water, Transport, Geotechnical).
- You will provide support to the team by developing designs, conducting site investigations, desk-based technical report writing, conducting site visits and appraisals, and assisting with management of project tasks.
- You have been involved in leading and delivering waste design projects to a high standard.
- Grow our business by strengthening relationships with existing clients and supporting expansion into new markets
- Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
- Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
- We’d like you to have at least 5 years professional experience in a civils design role, ideally within a consultancy context in designing waste infrastructure or remediation projects.
- You’ll be confident providing and demonstrable experience delivering technical outputs to a high standard (e.g., reports, drawings, project plans).
- Highly motivated with interest and ambition to further develop expertise in the design of waste infrastructure.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in the English language. Additional language skills a plus.
- Demonstrate an ability to effectively manage your time and identify project priorities.
- Be flexible and have a willingness to travel on occasion to client sites for meetings, surveys etc.
- Current member of a professional body (e.g., Engineers Ireland) working toward chartered status.
- Ability to work closely as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, with strong social and interpersonal skills.
- A good understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental management.
- Have a full clean driving licence.
- Leadership - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work closely with Clients to achieve high levels of satisfaction and win-win outcomes.
- Project Management – Extensive experience in all aspects of delivering projects and programmes of work, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control. Experience of leading, coaching and training project managers.

As a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) and DevOps Engineer in Storage, you will ensure that the designed solution responds to non-functional requirements such as reliability, availability, performance, security, and maintainability. **Required technical and professional expertise**
* Knowledge of Compute - Linux (RHEL), hardware, virtualisation, OS Installation.
* Experience on CEPH Software Defined Storage

* A solid understanding of Cloud infrastructure/operations is a must
* Knows their way around a Unix/Linux shell, can write shell scripts, and understands Linux internals

As an Operations Quality Engineer you will Analyse quality standards for components, materials or services. Apply measures, sampling methods, testing methodology and other procedures that ensure that quality standards are met. Provide Quality expertise and guidance to Manufacturing/Operations, Technical/Product Test and Incoming Materials to support the manufacture and delivery of quality and compliant products on time, in full and cost effectively to meet the needs of the business and customers.
This is a shift based role on 4 cycle shift.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Apply quality principles, analyses quality records, prepares reports and recommends improvements.
+ Conduct inspection, verification and validation of components or materials used in development processes.
+ Identify and address recurring problems either with the quality of the product or the reliability of testing procedures.
+ Document quality issues and performance measures for management review.
+ May liaise with external vendors.
+ Monitor and maintain the validation status of site products, processes and systems and monitor and maintain process FMEA and Critical Quality Attribute systems. Maintain site validation plans and periodic review process. Support Equipment and Software validation activities and support Process validation activities
+ Provide regular updates to peers and colleagues on project resource requirements and ensure other quality functions are brought into project teams at appropriate points.
+ Report on and support the implementation of actions to reduce the occurrence/reoccurrence of non-conformances within Manufacturing, Product Test and Incoming Material and initiating Exception Reports for discrepancies observed during inspection / testing & review activities.
+ Present and communicate status, report metrics, identify trends potential issues, improvement initiatives and CAPA requirements.
+ Investigating customer complaints and forwarding reports to PQA group and responsible for maintaining Corrective and Preventive Action programs.
+ Responsible for maintaining an appropriate balance of quality, compliance and business risk and responsible for ensuring teams use appropriate risk management tools to prioritize certain activities and justify the level of effort required.
+ Monitor and maintain the quality and compliance status of associated quality records and ensure project teams maintain project records in compliance with Quality System and planned requirements.
+ Support DMR change control and calibration activities.
**Qualifications and Experience**
+ Minimum NFQ Level 7 Qualification in Engineering or Manufacturing qualification
+ 3 years in a Manufacturing / Science or Engineering environment
+ GMP/GDP experience
+ ISO 13485 experience
+ Yellow belt qualification desired.

**Position Summary**
The Inspection Processes and Metrology Lead Role (also referred to as Pillar Process Lead Role) is an exciting opportunity to lead a technical team of SMEs across a global network. This role is part of the Technical Leadership Team within Advanced Operations TECS whose core purpose is to ensure our engineering community is connected and aligned enterprise wide. The Pillar Lead Role includes:
+ Promoting connectedness, alignment and technical advancement enterprise wide across Stryker's global engineering community.
+ Ownership and development of the Metrology & Inspection Technical Competency and Technology Roadmap across AO TECS.
+ Identifying and introducing new technologies and processes that enable product roadmap and improve cost and time to market (CTM and TTM).
+ Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) in measurement science and GD&T interpretation.
+ Develop, maintain, and improve metrology standards, procedures, and work instructions.
+ Pioneering incremental and step change continuous improvement initiatives, that facilitate NPI to be faster, future-fit and differentiated.
+ Develops an in-depth understanding of the network by working closely with Business Unit Leaders and Divisional Partners to identify the necessity for the creation of new Pillar Processes and provides guidance to facilitate a smooth transition into a functioning Pillar Process.
+ Aligns with the business on digital programs and drives relevant initiatives within TECS.
**Technical / Leadership Responsibilities**
+ The individual will lead the Metrology / Inspection Pillar Process Team to deliver results in line with the Technical Leadership Team purpose and committed deliverables.
+ The individual will facilitate problem solving, leveraging of previous work completed and set technical direction across the network.
+ They will successfully lead the team to deliver key programs and projects per associated timelines, quality requirements within budgetary constraints.
+ Responsible for project and stakeholder management including the technical assessment of all assigned projects.
+ Develop skills matrix in line with product roadmaps identifying the necessary training, mentoring and coaching for team members to ensure that technical and team-based skills are acquired, applied and maintained.
+ The individual will improve the technical competency across the business by coaching and mentoring engineering team members and sitting with people managers to ensure technical content within IDP's is effective and relevant.
+ Leads DFI activities working alongside NPI and R&D teams. Influences product designs to ensure adherence to the highest quality standards, project costs and timelines.
+ Provide direction to the team in complex or difficult situations, remove obstacles and interface with other functions to assist with issue resolution.
+ Responsible for the implementation, enforcement and compliance of all relevant quality, regulatory and safety standards.

**Minimum Qualifications (Required):**
+ B.S in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline with 8+ years of experience in a Metrology or Inspection related role. Related master's degree or PhD with experience may also be desirable.
+ Proficiency with CMM programming (PC-DMIS, Calypso, etc.), GD&T, and CAD interpretation.
+ Strong knowledge of calibration principles and measurement uncertainty.
+ Experience with quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO/IEC 17025).
+ Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab).
+ Individual should possess strong leadership skills, proven ability to coach and mentor individuals in technical skills and people development areas.
+ Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA).
+ Experience with automation and digital metrology solutions.
+ Proven track record overseeing the introduction of new technology from early identification through to the release of an application for serial manufacturing.
