As the Associate Director Growth & Innovation you will work with the reimbursement policy team. They are charged with implementing policies that reflect CMS guidelines on appropriate CPT codes to be applied when billing from Providers and Facilities. The Associate Director Growth & Innovation seeks to advance the opportunity to create new and enhanced policies that drive medical costs savings for our client, United Health Care. Primarily, the candidate will work closely with the Concept Research and Development team (CRD) and the Internal ideation team to ensure a steady stream of policy opportunities can be worked on by the policy management team.
The Associate Director Growth & Innovation will also seek to innovate in terms of improving current processes and removing non value add processes and shortening the end -to-end cycle of ideation to deployment and thereby increasing productivity and medical cost savings. **About the Role**
The **Senior Director of Product Innovation** will be responsible for generating new growth for Optum Rx by partnering closely with Optum Rx businesses and the broader UHG enterprise to identify and qualify new product opportunities for the PBM. **Primary Responsibilities:**
+ Lead the search, evaluation, and prioritization to build a pipeline of new product opportunities for ORx' PBM business

Tyndall National Institute is an international leader in semiconductor research and innovation and a key actor and hosting partner in the delivery of the European Commission's 'Chips for Europe Initiative' (EU Chips Act).

As Ireland's leading research and innovation organisation and a flagship Institute of University College Cork, Tyndall's mission is to have a significant impact on the economic development of Ireland within a European and global context. Tyndall plays a major role in the delivery of 'Silicon Island', Ireland's national semiconductor strategy through its collaboration with industry, the commercialisation of intellectual property and the creation of new semiconductor related start-ups. With an annual turnover of around €60 million, the Institute has a community of 700 researchers, innovators, engineers, support staff, postgraduate students, and industry researchers-in-residence.

Significant progress has been made against the ambitious goals set out in the last Strategic Plan (Tyndall 2025) and the foundations have been laid for a new strategy that will see additional growth with more focus on the semiconductor sector out to 2030 and beyond. With significant committed Irish government support and EU Chips Act funding, our emerging strategy will see Tyndall scale in both capacity and capability for its innovation and industry engagement activities.

The new senior executive role of Director of Innovation and Industry Engagement was established in response to these investments and to ensure that we realise our ambitions for Ireland and the global semiconductor sector.

Reporting to the Tyndall CEO, the role will be responsible for all aspects, strategic and operational, of the Institute's innovation (commercialisation and new ventures, start-ups, spin-outs and spin-ins) and industry engagement (business development, collaborative research, EU Chips Act Pilot Lines) activities and portfolio. As a core member of the Tyndall Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Director of Innovation and Industry Engagement will take overall executive responsibility for the delivery of our actions and activities in support of the 'Silicon Island' National Strategy and for ensuring that Tyndall remains best-in-class in working with the semiconductor and related sectors.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Leadership and oversight of all aspects of Tyndall's innovation and entrepreneurship strategy and delivery, including the creation of spin-outs, support for start-ups, IP commercialisation, externally funded initiatives, ecosystem development activities, and entrepreneurial culture and capability.

  • Leadership and oversight of all aspects of Tyndall's industry engagement strategy and delivery, including the development and maintenance of strategic industry partnerships with large enterprises, development of the Irish semiconductor sector and support for SMEs, business development across the Institute, and support for research teams seeking industry partners.

  • Ensuring the success and sustainability of major externally funded activities such as the EU I-C3Chips Competence Centre and Tyndall's EU Chips Act Pilot Line Activities and the MCCI Technology Centre.

  • Executive responsibility for our partnership and mission delivery for relevant State Agencies such as Enterprise Ireland and IDA Ireland.

  • Close coordination and partnership with relevant units of University College Cork (UCC), particularly UCC Innovation and the wider Office of the Vice-President for Research and Innovation, and with the wider higher education ecosystem in Ireland.

  • Engagement with international research organisations in relation to strategic cooperation for innovation and development to the global semiconductor industry.

  • As part of the Tyndall ELT, ensure the development and delivery of the forthcoming Tyndall 2030 Strategic Plan with direct responsibility for delivery of relevant theme(s).

  • Direct line management of all senior managers within the Innovation and Industry engagement portfolio including all relevant hosted centres.

  • Carry out any additional duties as may reasonably be required given the executive-level nature of the post.

Essential Criteria

  • A primary degree in engineering, science or technology (or related field) and an MBA or other relevant postgraduate qualification.

  • Ability to develop, implement and lead innovation and industry engagement strategies aligned with the Institute's mission and strategy and the Silicon Island Semiconductor Strategy.

  • Strong knowledge of the semiconductor value chain and ecosystem trends, particularly in the context of the EU Chips Act and industrial research and development.

  • Proven senior-level commercial management experience ideally in the ICT sector with broad technical knowledge of the market for specialist ICT technologies and new venture development.

  • Successful business unit leadership in a similar management role within industry or a research organisation.

**Responsibilities:**
+ Own development of the Service Innovation and Customer Assurance function within Global Submarine Networks (GSN) Operations. Implementing new processes based around the framework.
+ Manage all customer communications related to service delivery via programs ensure structured, tracked engagement with customers and stakeholders, updating them on order progress using agreed tools.
+ Drive innovation across service and lifecycle management and the way we deliver network for Google in what will be a new function in service management and agreements/customer onboarding.
+ Collaborate with internal teams (Build, Operations, Business, Compliance) to address partner concerns and ensure smooth service delivery. Identify and escalate any issues or roadblocks that may hinder partner onboarding or ongoing satisfaction.
+ Develop and maintain ongoing relationships with partners, acting as their primary point of contact within Google.

An Innovation Labs Digital Assets Application Senior Engineer must be a highly motivated and proactive hands-on software engineer (Full Stack), have a proven ability and experience working with enterprise applications within the financial services industry. The successful candidate will be part of the core team continuing to build our Citi Integrated Digital Assets Platform (CIDAP). The ideal candidate will be a self-driven, proactive, strong enterprise developer and resourceful team player who can comfortably work with a large team of highly motivated individuals within Citi's larger software engineering network.
We are looking for a candidate who understands how to build the frontend and backend of enterprise-grade web applications. The successful individual must understand the basics of web3 infrastructure, blockchain technology and digital assets, and must be a strong enterprise developer of web applications. Experience and knowledge of web3 application development is a plus.
**What you will do**
In this role, you will be handling the following (but not limited to).
+ To collaborate with team members in implementation approach of applications leveraging blockchain technology
+ To own and to delivery functional scope end-to-end of applications leveraging blockchain technology meeting our quality standards
+ To solve solution engineering challenges to meet our stakeholders' requirements and expectations
+ To know and properly use best and common practices, and design patterns for enterprise web applications
+ To know and properly use best and common practices, and design patterns for web3 applications
+ To properly use collaborative tools to manage and deliver work in a distributed team
+ To contribute and maintain tech documents for code and applications built and maintained

**What we'll need from you:**
+ Bachelor's degree in CS or Engineering; MS or PhD in computer science, or related discipline
+ Experience and expertise with backend web development with spring framework (spring boot).
+ Experience with frontend web development with AngularJS and ReactJS
+ Expertise in developing web applications using asynchronous programming and communication
+ Experience and expertise developing web applications adhering to best practices and patterns for reliability, scalability, and performance
+ Familiarity with web3 libraries like Web3J and Web3JS
+ Familiarity with common and best practices for web3 applications
**Nice to haves:**
+ NodeJS skills
+ Familiarity of UI/UX common and best practices
+ Familiarity of basics of DevOps and containerize applications
+ Familiarity of Agile Methodology and Scrum
+ Several years experience in full software development and testing lifecycle, and in web3 application development
**Competencies/ Skills:**
+ Strong team player with ability to communicate to technical / non-technical stakeholders at all levels and a start-up mindset.
+ Proven history of delivering high-quality, increasingly complex, commercial software products.
+ Strong engineering fundamentals (testing, code reviews, code structure, readable and maintainable code).
+ Hands-on development experience as a full stack developer building enterprise-grade web applications
+ Excellent computer science fundamentals: demonstrable command of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns along with capability to translate them into working, elegant code.
+ Intricate knowledge of controls for consistent deployment and management of applications using best-in-class with toolsets such as git, Jira, Jenkins, Helm Charts, etc.
