Job Description
AbbVie Cork is a dynamic Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) site, producing a diverse portfolio of innovative technologies and products.
We are currently sourcing a Supply Chain Manager to join our site leadership team, reporting to our Site Head. The Supply Chain Manager leads all supply chain and warehouse activities related to supply of current products and new product launches.
This includes coaching and mentorship of an experienced and skilled team across Demand Management and Supply Levelling, Master Scheduling, Materials Requirements Planning (MRP), and Warehouse/Storage management.

+ Work with the quality system ensuring that the site quality policy and GMP and GDP is fully complied with on a continuous basis.
+ Ensure Known consignor certification is maintained
+ Contribute to the development of the Global Supply Chain Function, i.e. become an active participant of the global team.
+ Champion and lead Culture & Engagement and EEDI initiatives in Supply Chain function and across the site.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or science with 5 years plus experience in supply chain management.
+ 5 year + People Management with demonstrated ability to develop key talent and to set clear vision and strategy for your team
+ OPEX Black / Green belt certified preferably
+ Experience in engaging, collaborating, and influencing at senior leadership level
+ Ability to think outside the box and provide solutions through structured trouble shooting methodologies

**Job Description**
**Supply Chain Specialist, Supply Chain**
The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will play a key role as part of the GSIUC Planning group within Materials Management department. He/She will support the function in playing a key role in executing the Supply Planning processes for the portfolio worked through GSIUC Operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient scheduling of manufacturing operations, aligning production plans with inventory, quality and API availability. The successful candidate will work cross functionally with Manufacturing, Warehouse, API team, Quality and Global planning to ensure timely and compliant execution of production schedules. The role will also contribute to continuation of development of processes across the function.
The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of supply chain management and ERP systems.
The successful candidate will be required to work across organizational, cultural and geographic boundaries to optimize company strategic results.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Partner with Operations teams to develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on the locked MPS
+ Responsible for maintaining control and hygiene of the frozen period
+ Collaborate closely with Manufacturing to align schedules with capacity and operational constraints
+ Coordinate with warehouse and API teams to ensure timely availability of API.
+ Liaise wih Quality to incorporate testing and release timelines into production plans
+ Update and communicate schedule changes to relevant stakeholders. Manage schedule breaks for the area.
+ Support planning team with data analysis and reporting as needed and responsible as backup scheduler to the primary packaging area.
+ Ensure compliance with GMP and other regulatory requirements. Manage any change controls, deviations or CAPAS as needed.
+ Responsible for the preparation of Product updates for & participation in Site, Regional & Global Sales & Execution forums.
+ Manage bulk shipments with all relevant stakeholders
+ Monitor, manage and report out on local and global KPIs relating to performance to plan, adherence, locked plan stability, and associated supply chain metrics. Proactively identify and resolve conflicts or delays.
+ Utilize data and available technology to derive actionable insights to drive efficiencies and cost management.
+ Lead the preparation and communication of complex 'current state' and 'future state' documents in line with continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Create business cases for identified process improvements and solutions

**Experience & Qualifications:**
+ Primary degree in Business, Science or Engineering discipline. Master's degree and/or professional qualifications in supply chain management desired.
+ Lean/Six Sigma certification and APICS CPIM and CSCP certifications preferred
+ 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management with a proven track record in MPS, production planning or related roles.
+ Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment highly desirable
+ Deep supply chain knowledge with an ability to identify and analyze and summarize business problems in the end to end context and pull the key stakeholders together to form cross functional responses.
+ Proficiency in Supply Chain planning software (e.g. SAP, Kinaxis RR)

Supply Chain Operations Shift Lead - Shanbally, Ringaskiddy, Cork Closing Date - 20th August 2025 Role The Shift Lead will serve as an integral member of the Supply Chain Operations Group based in a biologics facility which incorporates drug substance manufacturing, labelling & packaging of finished product, Fill Finish operations along with global supply co-ordination and product launch. The Supply Chain Operations Shift Lead will fulfil a key role by coordinating the Receiving, Warehouse, Weigh and Dispense/Sampling team in support of the plant's material operations requirements for steady - state manufacturing, packaging, fill finish and new product introductions (NPI). In addition, the Material Operations Shift lead will have oversight of receiving activities executed at BioMarin third party logistics (3PL) partners, and will act as liaison between the 3PL and BioMarin stakeholders with regards to any raw material issues and support requirements. This varied role includes the coordination of 3PL inventory replenishment, maximizing on site storage and capacity utilization, resource planning for standard work, and team coordination to ensure all tasks are completed and targets are achieved and updated/tracked on the area Daily Management Standard Workboard. The role calls for strong time management and prioritization skills. Ideally, the successful candidate will have experience and understanding of Materials Management in a Biotechnology or Pharma environment with particular focus on maintaining GMP standards. The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and energetic person with an ability to prioritize & co-ordinate multiple tasks across multiple activities in an everchanging environment. Attention to detail is critical in this operating environment. Strong and effective communication skills will be necessary, as well as the ability to positively influence without authority. This role will report to the Material Operations Lead. Key Responsibilities Develop and demonstrate a proactive approach to safety, industrial hygiene, environmental and regulatory compliance Co-ordinate the Receiving, Warehouse, Weigh and Dispense and Sampling teams within Material Operations by maintaining Daily Management Standard work boards and giving clear direction to the Ensure adherence to the Receiving, Warehouse, Weigh and Dispense and Sampling schedules Collaborate with Material Operations colleagues, QA, QC, Manufacturing, Packaging and Engineering to ensure all KPI's, SLA's and departmental targets are achieved Responsible for material management and storage, 3PL Inventory management and fulfilment of inventory requirements at BioMarin Shanbally Responsible for ensuring adherence to schedules for Manufacturing, Fill Finish and Packaging operations Co-ordinate both local and offsite facilities to ensure inventory supply is efficiently maintained for Shanbally, and replenishment signals are reviewed regularly to ensure they are in line with activity Maximize capacity efficiency of warehouse and cold-rooms/Freezers. Oversee all cycle counting activities at the Shanbally and satellite warehouse facilities Area lead for regulatory inspections Perform updates to standard operating procedures, training modules and compliance requirements Maximise efficiency through continuous improvement and progressive thinking Ensure temperature - controlled areas within Material Operations are maintained within compliance Ensure all weekly tasks are completed on time and in full Ensure housekeeping and 5S practice standards are maintained to the highest levels.
