Job Description
We are now looking for a Supply Chain Planner to join our team in Ballytivnan, Sligo. This is a new role due to the growth of the team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner to join a growing site and make a real impact on patient outcomes by delivering first-class planning and cross-department collaboration.
The successful candidate will ensure product availability through effective management of available capacity while maintaining cost and quality compliance. In this position, you will be seen as a central point of communication between the plant and market relating to demand and supply. Purpose:
The Supply Chain Planner plays a crucial role in optimizing and managing the flow of products and materials throughout the site. The Supply Chain Planner will ensure all customer demand is fully met for new and existing products, through demand management, efficient production planning and inventory management.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop and execute the supply chain strategy to optimize inventory levels, minimize stockouts, and reduce lead times.
+ The Supply Chain Planner will actively participate in New Product Introductions (NPI) by coordinating planning activities, developing demand forecasts, and aligning supply chain resources to ensure successful and timely launch of new products.
+ Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts and inventory plans to meet customer demand.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales to ensure timely delivery of products and services to customers.
+ Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
+ Identify and assess supply chain risks, develop mitigation strategies, and implement contingency plans to manage disruptions.
+ Manage relationships with purchasing and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and services and resolve any issues that may arise.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory levels, procurement costs, and supplier performance.
+ Develop and maintain effective communication channels with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of goals and objectives.
+ Participate in cross-functional projects to support business goals and objectives.
Qualifications
+ Minimum 5 years' experience in supply chain planning and execution.
+ Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in an appropriate Technical or Business Discipline. APICS (Desirable)
+ Understanding & experience using MRP/ERP systems, especially SAP.

AbbVie Cork is a dynamic Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) site, producing a diverse portfolio of innovative technologies and products.
We are currently sourcing a Supply Chain Manager to join our site leadership team, reporting to our Site Head. The Supply Chain Manager leads all supply chain and warehouse activities related to supply of current products and new product launches.

+ Contribute to the development of the Global Supply Chain Function, i.e. become an active participant of the global team.
+ Champion and lead Culture & Engagement and EEDI initiatives in Supply Chain function and across the site.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, engineering, or science with 5 years plus experience in supply chain management.
+ 5 year + People Management with demonstrated ability to develop key talent and to set clear vision and strategy for your team
+ OPEX Black / Green belt certified preferably
+ Experience in engaging, collaborating, and influencing at senior leadership level
+ Ability to think outside the box and provide solutions through structured trouble shooting methodologies

**Indirect Materials & Operational Support**

**Supply Chain Specialist, Supply Chain**
The Senior Supply Chain Specialist will play a key role as part of the GSIUC Planning group within Materials Management department. He/She will support the function in playing a key role in executing the Supply Planning processes for the portfolio worked through GSIUC Operations. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient scheduling of manufacturing operations, aligning production plans with inventory, quality and API availability. The successful candidate will work cross functionally with Manufacturing, Warehouse, API team, Quality and Global planning to ensure timely and compliant execution of production schedules. The role will also contribute to continuation of development of processes across the function.
The successful candidate will have detailed knowledge of supply chain management and ERP systems.
The successful candidate will be required to work across organizational, cultural and geographic boundaries to optimize company strategic results.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Partner with Operations teams to develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on the locked MPS
+ Responsible for maintaining control and hygiene of the frozen period
+ Collaborate closely with Manufacturing to align schedules with capacity and operational constraints
+ Coordinate with warehouse and API teams to ensure timely availability of API.
+ Liaise wih Quality to incorporate testing and release timelines into production plans

+ Utilize data and available technology to derive actionable insights to drive efficiencies and cost management.
+ Lead the preparation and communication of complex 'current state' and 'future state' documents in line with continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Create business cases for identified process improvements and solutions

**Experience & Qualifications:**
+ Primary degree in Business, Science or Engineering discipline. Master's degree and/or professional qualifications in supply chain management desired.
+ Lean/Six Sigma certification and APICS CPIM and CSCP certifications preferred
+ 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management with a proven track record in MPS, production planning or related roles.
+ Experience in pharmaceutical operations/cGMP environment highly desirable
+ Deep supply chain knowledge with an ability to identify and analyze and summarize business problems in the end to end context and pull the key stakeholders together to form cross functional responses.
