This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to drive best practice, support project delivery teams, and influence strategic projects across capital works, IT, transformation, and climate change initiatives.
This role can be based in Carrick on Shannon, Dublin or Scariff offices.
Your new role as Lead Project Manager You will: Oversee and support projects across cost, scope, time, risk, and quality.
Develop and embed project management processes, governance, and reporting.
Mentor project managers and provide training and guidance.
Drive continuous improvement and introduce PMO systems.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver organisational objectives.
What you'll need to succeed Degree (Level 8 or higher) in business, engineering, or project management.
5+ years' experience in project/programme/PMO management.
Recognised project management qualification or professional membership.
Strong stakeholder management, analytical, and communication skills.
Proven leadership and organisational ability.
Full driving licence and ability to travel across regional offices.

Our client is seeking a professional who can not only assist in bringing new products to life but also help drive advancements in R&D and regulatorysubmissions to FDA and European notified bodies.

Important Information before you read on Candidates can be based remotely but there willbe weeklytravel to Galway, Sligo and occasionally Dublin.

Candidates must already have the legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland to be considered.
Duties External Partnerships and Supplier Management: Act as the primary liaison for external partners, including device and delivery manufacturers.
Develop new relationships withpre-clinicaltesting facilities and CROs, managing supplier agreements and ensuring quality standards.
Intellectual Property Management: Manage the company's IP portfolio with external patent lawyers, manage specific research projects, and ensure "freedom to operate." Conduct IP searches and assist with patent applications, ensuring the company's IP strategy and portfolio is kept on schedule.
Experience with CAD software an advantage.
Project Management and Execution: Lead the planning and implementation of technical projects, collaborate with external partners, monitor project progress, and manage cross-functional project teams.
Regulatory Compliance and Documentation: Prepare and provide technical consultation for clinical and regulatory documents, draft responses to regulatory agencies, and ensure adherence tointernationalregulations.
Reporting and Communication: Provide regular, detailed reports to the CMO and senior leadership on project status, progress against milestones, budget adherence, and risk mitigation efforts.
Generate investor reports and communicate effectively.
Supplier and Facility Management: Manage 3rd partypre-clinicaltesting facilities and select, negotiate, and manage relationships with CROs.
Skills Required Technical Expertise: Bachelors or Masters degree in sciences, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum of 2-3 years of project management experience ideally in the medical device industry.
Experience with device verification, device validation, and regulatory submissions is a distinct advantage.
Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of relevant regulatory requirements (FDA, European submissions).
Experience: Experience in the biomedical field, ideally within a smaller company.
Experience of managing 3rd partypre-clinicaltesting facilities and selecting, negotiating, and managing relationships with CROs.
Additional Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills,a proficiency in computer-assisted design software, and an understanding of marketing and reimbursement strategies would be ideal.
A Project Management Professional (PMP) or other recognised certification is a significant advantage.

Reporting to your assigned segment's Digital Project Solutions (DPS) Business Partner within a matrix structure, the purpose of this role will be to implement, and manage the use of digital tools to capture, share and use information to enhance project/contract delivery.
This role is responsible for service delivery of project or contract information management and tactical deployment of project-based technology.
Your mission Management Responsibilities Manage pipeline and workload, to deliver the appropriate service to meet customer needs and liaise with DPS Digital Engineering & Production, and DPS Support to agree and deliver appropriate resource and service to projects/contracts.
Has detailed knowledge of client and business requirements and expectations ensuring that the appropriate plans, specifications, reviews and controls are in place.
Work in accordance with relevant sections of applicable industry standards, codes of practice, company procedures and legal requirements.
Maintain high safety, environmental, and quality standards in accordance with company policies and report any non-compliance.
Project / Contract Level Responsibilities Leadership Lead and communicate risk, opportunity, change and commercial impact to the project/contract team.
Ensuring it is recorded in accordance with BAM procedures.
the facilitation of training and support for all aspects of information management, including the CDE, to the project/contract team and stakeholders as required.
Information Management Lead and coordinate the delivery of the Project and/or Asset Information Model(s), as specified in the Exchange Information Requirements (EIRs) and BAM's ISO 19650 protocol.
Where BAM is the Appointing Party, lead and support the development of the Appointing Party's ISO 19650 protocol and associated deliverables.
Establish and lead the implementation of systems for the management, sharing and storage of information, according to required security protocols, throughout the project/contract lifecycle, including archiving and disposal.

Educational Background: Higher Education in Construction or related fields.
Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience working on construction projects / FM contracts with experience in digital solutions.
Work in accordance with BAM UK&I Values.
Knowledge Area Experience in 4 D programmes to improve understanding of the construction sequence and support risk reduction.
Knowledge of 5 D Forecasting (Link between programme, model, cost and how to extract information required for the job role).
Ability to apply data validation techniques to construction information.
Experience in developing BEP template to achieve project requirements.
Ability to Map information flow in terms of inputs, processes and outputs.
Ability to Interface between digital software and technology.
Expertise in the usage of quality documentation e.g., BEP and MIDP to effectively manage, communicate and deliver information requirements.
Experience in specifying and managing the production of federated 3 D models to meet project and role requirements.
Expertise in Project delivery/handover formats (e.g., COBie etc.).
