The role will focus primarily on supporting Keurig Dr Pepper's global Procurement functions in contract review, drafting and negotiation, and may involve other responsibilities as the business evolves. About the role
An opportunity has arisen for a proactive, detail orientated, commercially minded solicitor to join our expanding and dynamic in-house legal team. This role offers exposure to a broad range of legal matters including litigation support, complaints management, data protection, corporate transactions, and general legal matters and will provide the successful candidate with an excellent opportunity to develop commercial legal experience within a fast-paced business environment. The successful candidate will work closely with senior members of the Davy legal team and collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business.In the role, the successful candidate will:
- Liaise with external counsel, manage case files, and support dispute resolution processes.
- Investigate and respond to client complaints including FSPO complaints in line with our regulatory obligations.
- Provide advice on data protection and privacy matters including supplier management and contracts (including advice on data transfers), breach responses, Data Privacy Impact Assessments, advice on data subject rights and AI governance and compliance.
- Assist with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts, NDAs, and general legal and corporate governance documents.
- Respond to ad hoc legal queries from internal departments within the business, offering clear and practical advice
- Conduct legal research and assist in identifying legal risks and mitigation strategies.
About you
We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:
- Qualified Solicitor in Ireland with 1-3 years post-qualification experience.
- Working knowledge of key legislative/regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to MiFID, the Consumer Protection Code, the Investment Intermediaries Act, the GDPR and the Data Protection Acts.
- Experience in corporate law, GDPR, litigation, and regulatory compliance preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently with sound judgment.
- Commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach to legal problem-solving.
- A commitment to quality with a strong attention to detail is extremely important to this role.
- A confident approach and an ability to communicate with a range of people including external advisors and senior management within the business.
- A team player, who can react positively to demanding challenges and tight deadlines, without loss of accuracy.

**PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES**
SAP is looking for a lawyer with 10 years post qualification commercial legal experience to lead the legal requirements of SAP Ireland Limited working closely with the Ireland Leadership team and the respective legal teams across the different regions.
**What you'll do:**
The successful candidate will:
+ be part of Tech Adoption, Managed Service Partner (MSP) and SAP Store Leadership teams and the EMEA Legal Management team and co-ordinate the legal activities of SAP Ireland with the Global legal teams and teams on other regions
+ provide legal advice to all aspects of the SAP business that is operating through SAP Ireland with the emphasis on advising the Executive Management team, including the MD and CFO;
+ work closely with sales and partner management to coordinate support for key deals, understand requirements and priorities and how to optimise legal support for these, provide training on legal topics to sales teams and manage escalations;
+ coach, support, and develop the legal team involved in SAP Ireland transactions
+ take responsibility for ensuring compliance with local legal and regulatory requirements, including in relation to data privacy, security, competition and consumer law, and corporation/ company law
+ work closely with the SAP Office of Ethics and Compliance in relation to ensuring the SAP Code of Conduct is complied with, on internal audit investigations and as part of the market unit compliance function
