This is an ideal role for someone with a genuine interest in using their qualification to help those in need and offers a great opportunity to gain both commercial experience and senior stakeholder engagement.

The role offers great progression, with a clear route to Finance Manager in a short space of time.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This role will be responsible for day to day accounting of specific divisions of the organisation. Main duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of the monthly management accounts, consolidation process and financial statement preparation;
  • Contribute in KPI analysis, cash-flow forecasting, and board reporting preparation;
  • Support in the development of FP&A processes;
  • Oversight of AR/AP team outputs;
  • On-going process improvement and ad-hoc projects as they arise.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

  • Qualified Accountant with at 0-3 years PQE (ACA, ACCA, CIMA);
  • Genuine interest in not for profit and the charity sector;
  • Industry experience is preferred;
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills;
  • Self-starter who is motivated, innovative and ambitious;
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel.

Overview: My client is seeking a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) with solid experience in both Accounts preparation and Tax compliance/advisory to join their growing team. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with partners and senior managers, gain exposure to clients, and contribute to the continued growth and diversification of the practice. Key Responsibilities: Preparation and review of annual and management accounts for a wide range of clients. Preparation and filing of corporation tax, income tax, and VAT returns. Supporting partners with tax planning and advisory projects. Managing a portfolio of clients, ensuring all deadlines and compliance requirements are met. Liaising directly with clients, building strong working relationships, and providing technical guidance where required. You will be: A recently qualified or finalist accountant pursuing a CPA/ ACCA/ ACA qualification with a minimum of one years' experience working in a Public Practice environment. Strong attention to detail and technical knowledge. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Excellent organisational skills. The ability to successfully manage deadlines.
