MOYOLA Precision Engineering wishes to recruit a Process Operator to support and develop its infrastructure. Job Title Process Operator Responsible to Treatments Manager This is an exciting opportunity to be part of our team at our Treatments Facilities at MOYOLA Precision Engineering. Reporting to the Treatments Manager, the process operator will be required to process components within defined procedures in line with customer requirements. Main Responsibilities are set out below. Establish job requirements from drawings, production cards or job instruction sheets. Select appropriate jig or fixtures for various finishing processes. Undertaking a breadth of tasks including treating, cleaning, degreasing, and masking to an extensive variety of components from a wide selection of different aircraft platforms. Pre-cleaning and post cleaning of components. Pack/unpack components to company specifications. Verify the work which has been carried out and record as necessary. Record any necessary data. To assist, as required with the monitoring of stock levels for chemicals and consumables. To assist, as required with certain elements of machine maintenance (preventive and scheduled). Support with the implementation of initiatives to improve manpower utilisation and process improvement within the treatment operations. Ensure quality requirements are always met. Promote a culture of Continuous Improvement; maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas driving continuous improvement initiatives. Always operate any equipment or process in a safe manner in line with proper procedures and wear appropriate clothing/equipment. Carry out any addition tasks or duties deemed necessary to meet all responsibilities of the role Qualifications & Skills Essential Self-directed person who inspires and motivates those around them. Encourages and facilitates change. Able to manage multiple priorities with a bias towards action and sound organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload. Knowledge of chemicals for acid etch/pickling. Evidence of fact-based decision making. A solid understanding of engineering drawings and method specifications. Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
