Location: Lucena Clinic, Child & Adolescent Mental Health Services Initial Base: Sessa House, Vevay Road, Bray, Co. Wicklow Lucena Clinic provides a comprehensive Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service to defined catchment areas, with a population under 18 of 172,585, residing in South Dublin City and County plus North and West County Wicklow. Clinical Teams are based throughout the catchment area operating clinics in Tallaght, Rathgar, Dun Laoghaire, Bray, Wicklow town and Arklow. COMMUNITY MENTAL HEALTH NURSE (CAMHS) (Permanent, Full Time 37.5 hrs) Saint John of God Community Services, Community Mental Health Services Lucena Clinic are now inviting applications for the post ofCommunity Mental Health Nurse. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, innovative and committed to providing a quality service that responds to the needs and priorities of our service users. Role Summary We are currently seeking to expand our community team by employing a dynamic and enthusiastic Community Mental Health Nurse to work as part of a service for children and adolescents with mental health challenges. The Community Mental Health Nurse has a pivotal role in the delivery of effective, recovery orientated, high quality, team based and integrated care. The purpose of this role is also to provide assessment and support to the individual and families through the delivery of appropriate treatment and recovery orientated interventions to support care in the community working towards a reduction in the need for acute hospitalisation. The service actively promotes multidisciplinary teamwork, continuing professional development and innovation in Community Mental Health Nursing. This includes Nurse prescribing and Advanced Nurse Practitioners roles for those people wishing to advance their education, responsibilities and skills. Minimum Requirements I. Registered, or are eligible for registration, in the Psychiatric Nurses Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) II. Have a minimum of 5 years post registration III. Have a minimum of 2 year's experience working in CAMHS setting. IV. Have successfully completed a post registration programme of study, as certified by the education provider, which verifies that the applicant has achieved a National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ) major academic Level 8 or higher award maintained by Quality & Qualifications of Ireland (QQI) or can provide written evidence from the Higher Education Institute that they have achieved the number of ECTS credits equivalent to a Level 8 or higher standard in a health care or management related area. V. Demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development. Remuneration Salary Grade 2301 Community Mental Health Nurse on the Consolidated HSE Pay Scale € per annum pro rata Initial location The initial location of this role is Lucena Clinic, Bray. However, you may be required, from time to time, to work at SJOG CS's other places of business or/and the premises of such associated s companies or organisations as SJOG CS may require. You will be given as much notice of any such change of place of work as is reasonably practicable. Regional Director, Community Mental Health Permanent, Full-time, 35 hours Saint John of God Community Services, Mental Health Division comprises of both CAMHs and Adult Mental Health Services including Community based Acute Care and Treatment; Outpatient Clinics; Adult In Patient Care at Saint John of God Hospital, Recovery Programmes and Vocational Training for adults as well as Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHs) within Community Health Care East and part of CHO 6. The person selected will be responsible for the day-to-day leadership and management of the Community based Mental Health Services, under the delegated authority of the Chief Executive. The Regional Director will develop and deliver on the Services' Strategic Plan in the most effective and efficient manner.
