Ayrton Group are seeking a Safety Management Systems Manager to join us on an ongoing project with a large utilities provider. This role is advertised for Castlebar Co. Mayo as that is the preferred office location, but as the client has multiple locations across the country they are open to candidates based within a commutable distance of any office location.
The SMS Manager will maintain strategic oversight of the company Safety Management System to ensure regulatory compliance with National and International Health & Safety legislation, standards, and codes of practice.
This is a 12 month contract position with the potential for further extension, commencing in September.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead teams to deliver internal audits on compliance.
- Continuous development of the SMS in compliance with ISO 45001.
- Manage preparation for upcoming ISO audits.
- Manage company Health & Safety Risk register.
- Senior stakeholder management.
- Foster common approach to Health & Safety across all departments.
- Lead Continuous improvement requirements for SMS.
- Risk assurance.
- Set high standards, by encouraging others to embed a Health & Safety culture.
- Perform other duties as required from time to time.
Key Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Safety, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years management experience with Senior stakeholders is required.
- Experience with ISO 45001 systems is required.
- Previous experience in the utilities industry is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience managing or supporting projects with tight deadlines and high delivery standards.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Capable of working independently and under pressure.
- Able to influence and engage at all levels of an organisation.

Ayrton Group are seeking a Traffic Management Safety Officer to join our client, an Engineering group, on a major public transport infrastructure project in Dublin.
This is an initial 6-month contract role with the potential for extension, commencing as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Focusing on the smooth and safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians and on-site coordination of roadworks.
- Coordinating traffic licences associated with Design and Build Contractor's site activities during project construction stage.
- Facilitating cross-scheme, site level coordination of traffic licence management activities among key internal and external stakeholders (Contractor, Local Authorities, Emergency Services, TII, An Garda Siochana etc).
- Facilitating the smooth processing and acceptance of traffic licences using the RMO MRL System in the line with the Scope of Services of the Contract.
- Working closely with the D&B Contractor to manage and track licence applications, ensuring wider agreements and consents are in place prior to traffic licences being implemented on site.
- Providing assurances to key stakeholders that traffic licence applications are associated with approved works.
- Acting as the point of contact for all matters relating to traffic licences across the schemes at construction stage.
- Advising and instructing on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.).
- Reviewing existing policies and measures and updating according to legislation.
- Management of Health & Safety paperwork on-site.
- Managing and recommending PPE for on-site employees
Key Requirements:
- Recognised qualification in Health and Safety required.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an on-site HSO position preferred.
- Previous experience carrying out temporary traffic management activities on construction projects preferably in a live urban environment on high value road projects or projects of a similar scale and complexity.
- Road safety, traffic incident management, traffic control and safety procedures.
- SLG CSCS card is desirable.
- Safe Pass accreditation is desirable.
- Fully proficient in the use of MS Office applications and other project tools and methodologies.
- Ability to work on own initiative and be innovative.
- Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.

Manage and optimize the workflow of content platform quality control, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop moderation quality strategies that enhance reliability and efficiency, aligning with the company's values and best practices.
Work closely with XFN teams to manage tasks like queue creation and migration, coordinating TikTok QA resources for global projects to ensure smooth implementation and stable workflow operation.
Lead strategic quality initiatives from planning to execution, partnering with business leaders to proactively identify and analyze issues in moderation processes and strategies, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, quality
Track development trends in quality processes and drive transformational initiatives to implement new quality improvement methods, optimize moderation practices, and enhance automation strategies for continuous refinement.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or above, with at least 2 years of experience in quality operations and content safety related work preferred;
Excellent product thinking and problem-solving abilities, with clear logic and strong data analysis skills;
Good team communication and collaboration skills, able to promote smooth progress and implementation of projects involving multiple businesses and roles;
Strong self-drive, enjoy challenges, and pursue excellence.
Proven experience collaborating with product teams to deliver successful outcomes
Preferred Qualifications:
- Mandarin language skills are preferred to facilitate collaboration with our colleagues and partners based in Mandarin-speaking regions.
