Overview We are seeking an experienced CSA Supervisor for a major pharmaceutical construction project in Athlone. Responsibilities Safety First Priority is the Safety & Health of all persons working on or visiting the site. Scope Be fully familiar with the contract scope, technical documentation package, contract price details and fabrication/supply/construction programme. Coordination Monitor the day-to-day site activities of the Contractors, to ensure they complete their contracts in terms of safety, quality, schedule, cost and documentation. Be fully informed on planned activities, work methods and resources. Participate in morning planning meeting at workface ('Whiteboard meetings'). Be aware, take action and provide feedback on: Output from 4-week lookahead meeting Weekly Coordination Meeting. Quality Monitors the implementation of the Contractors' Quality plan Carries out daily inspections of the works to ensure the required standards are achieved Witnesses any tests or inspections required under the Inspection and Test Plan. Complete a minimum of one specific inspection daily and record in the QIR report Liaise with Construction Superintendent and material Controller on free-issue Equipment deliveries, receipt and inspections. In conjunction with the QA/QC/Turnover Manager, reviews and approves test packs; provides information to the database controller so that status reports are up-to-date and accurate. Participates in system walkdowns, punch-list management, construction close-out and turnover of systems to client and/or the C&Q team. Expedites the close out of punchlists In Lieu of the Package Owner Reviews contractors' red-line mark-ups for completeness and accuracy. Ensure construction IFC's are Red-Lined showing progress achieved and accuracy of installation. Qualifications Degree level qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or related discipline. Additional Professional Qualifications in Engineering or Construction/Project Management desirable Experience in Digital Project Delivery desirable. At least 10 years' experience in the management of large-scale construction projects and multi-disciplinary construction teams. Experience in Construction delivery within specialised industrial sectors including, for example, Life Sciences, Food, Mission Critical & Data-Centres, etc. Experience in the promoting and ensuring exemplary standards of health and safety on large-scale construction projects. Qualifications Around 2 years of experience in quality control, logistics coordination, site supervision, or similar roles on construction sites, preferably from EPC projects within PV, wind, BESS, data centre, or other technically demanding infrastructure sectors. Ability to read, understand, and apply project specifications, technical drawings, and standards Good understanding of site-based quality control and logistics, including inspections, documentation, material handling, deliveries, storage, and traceability. Coordinate subcontractors and site teams to ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to specification. Conduct site inspections and monitor quality standards throughout construction activities. Support project planning, material management, and construction sequencing activities. Liaise with project managers, engineers, consultants, and client representatives throughout project delivery. Ensure compliance with health & safety procedures, project specifications, and quality requirements. Manage site documentation, inspections, snagging, and QA records. Support project handover activities and close-out of outstanding works. Requirements Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Engineering, or a related discipline, or a relevant trade qualification. 3+ years' experience in a CSA Supervisor, Site Supervisor, Foreman, or Site Engineer role. Experience working on Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Industrial, or large-scale commercial construction projects. Strong understanding of CSA construction activities, quality control, and site coordination. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Eligible to work in the EU.
