Daycare at Home Coordinator - Limerick The Alzheimer Society of Ireland works across the country in the heart of local communities providing dementia specific services and advocating for the rights of people affected by dementia to quality supports and services. A national non-profit organisation, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is person centred, rights-based and grassroots led with the voice of the person with dementia and their carer at its core. The ASI is currently recruiting a Daycare at Home Coordinator for the Ennis Daycare at Home Services, Cuan an Chlir, Cahercalla, Ennis, Co. Clare. V95 P9V9 and cover North Tipperary, Limerick, Clare and surrounding areas. This is a permanent contract working 37.5 hours per week. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the daycare at home service in North Tipperary, Limerick, Clare and surrounding areas along with assessing the needs of clients and carers, assigning staff to clients based on their needs and reviewing these assignments regularly. You will devise care plans to meet the needs of our clients. You will also have a team of staff reporting into you that you will be supporting. Experience in the management of people is essential. To be successful in this role you will need experience of working with people who are living with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities. A third level qualification is desirable but not essential. You will need good communication, organisational and administration skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. A full driving licence is essential. This post requires you to do regular travel involved. Salary will be commensurate with the care sector, and dependent on relevant experience.
