We are currently seeking a Senior IT Specialist to join our IT Services Team, based in our Dublin office . All hub-based Clions are expected to work from the office at least two days per week on designated Anchor Days .

This position is primarily office-based with flexibility for remote work. The ability to respond on-site to IT needs at short notice is expected.

We are moving past the traditional IT Services group of “fighting fires” and are always looking for ways to proactively automate and save our employees' precious time. By supporting Clions, we find ways for them to spend more time helping our customers.

What you'll work on:

Delivering world-class IT support to #teamClio around the globe.

Driving technical best practices and tailor adoption to meet end-user needs.

Delivering onsite support for meeting room audiovisual systems, end-user hardware, and office network infrastructure across our Dublin and UK office locations. This may include travel between offices.

Leading by example and provide mentorship and training to members of the team.

Onboarding new Clions to our systems, applications, and various technologies.

Maintaining an accurate inventory of all hardware through asset management tools.

Owning the procurement and logistics of new hardware and software.

Prioritizing and understand the importance of IT security protocols.

Implementing and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans.

Collaborating with external management and department leaders to assess near and long-term technology needs.

Creating and maintain documentation to standardize processes within the IT Team.

Continually grow, learn, and share as we strive to push technical boundaries

What you bring:

Highly experienced in managing inbound tickets from submission to completion.

Mastery in documenting troubleshooting steps and communicating solutions with end users.

Ability to analyze IT processes and procedures and implement change to improve efficiency for other members of your team.

Deep experience using Kandji and a core understanding of MDM on the macOS platform.

Experience working in environments with 2500+ endpoints.

Extensive knowledge of macOS, iOS, and Windows systems.

Deep familiarity with SaaS tools including Slack, Zoom, Confluence, Microsoft Office, Adobe, 1Password, GSuite and Github.

Keen interest in technological development and advancements.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to present subject matter to a wide variety of audiences.

Experience managing medium to large-sized projects is a must-have.

Extensive experience using Okta and Okta Workflows

Extensive experience using Terraform to provision and manage cloud-based IT infrastructure (e.g., for Okta, MDM, or internal tooling).

Strong fundamentals in Microsoft InTune and SharePoint.

Bonus points if you have:

Experience managing Windows devices with Azure AD.

Experience working with global offices and communicating abroad.

Proficiency scripting in Ruby, Python, or Bash.

The full salary range* for this role is €70,500 to €3,000 to ,500 EUR.Please note salary bands may differ based on location and local currency. Additionally, benefit offerings may differ depending on the employee's location.

*We aim to hire all candidates between the minimum and the midpoint of the full salary range. We reserve the midpoint to the maximum of the salary band for internal employees who demonstrate sustained high performance and impact at Clio. The final offer amount for this role will be dependent on individual experience and skillset of the candidate.

Junior IT System and Backup Administrator (Data Protection & Operations Specialist) Cork based, fully onsite Eir evo are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented person to work onsite with our client in Cork to manage and maintain the day-to-day operations of IT and OT data protection infrastructure. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity, availability, and recoverability of enterprise data across backup, restore, replication, and tape management processes. The successful candidate will support compliance efforts, contribute to documentation and reporting, and collaborate with technical teams to uphold data protection standards. A secondary responsibility includes monitoring IT infrastructure health and completing regular operational checklists to ensure system reliability and performance. Key Responsibilities Backup & Restore Operations Monitor daily backup jobs and investigate any errors, warnings, or failures; resolve or escalate as appropriate. Perform scheduled and ad-hoc restores to validate backup integrity and support operational, disaster recovery, and cyber recovery needs. Maintain and execute infrastructure operations checklists, escalating anomalies as required. Ensure timely resolution of backup/restore related support tickets Maintain Commvault Clients, Storage Resources, Storage Policies & Schedule Policies Coordination of legacy tape restore requests with third party vendor Documentation & Reporting Develop and maintain procedural documentation and wiki articles for common data protection tasks (e.g., server onboarding, restore procedures, replication checks). Build and manage Commvault dashboards and reports, including: Executive summary status reports (daily, weekly, monthly) Capacity planning and health reports Custom reports for specific teams (e.g., database, data warehouse) Infrastructure & Patch Management Coordinate regular patching and updates across: Commvault Software Maintenance Releases and Feature Releases Commvault Distributed Software Media agent OS/BIOS/firmware Tape library firmware Commvault server OS patching Commvault User Access Administration Manage Commvault user accounts, including MFA configuration and access reviews. Ensure licensing capacity and data ageing policies are monitored and maintained. Replication & Virtualization Monitor and report on replication jobs (RecoverPoint, Commvault Dash copies, database DR copies). Perform VMware data protection tasks, including snapshots and VM restores. Tape Library & Offsite Rotation Oversee tape library operations: Cleaning cycles, tape ordering, labelling, and scratch media replenishment Daily ejection of cyber-protect media Hardware installation and replacement coordination Managing data retention and disposal under information governance guidelines and ensuring compliance with legal requirements Manage offsite tape rotation: Liaise with third-party storage providers Maintain inventory and disposal logs Ensure compliance with secure storage requirements Liaise with staff in Disaster Recovery site regarding tape rotation process Procurement & Vendor Coordination Raise purchase requests for data protection-related items (e.g., tapes, support contracts, offsite storage). Support vendor coordination for hardware and service delivery. Infrastructure Monitoring & Checklist Execution Monitor the general health of IT infrastructure components, including physical hardware, virtual environments, disk libraries, and media agents. Track infrastructure metrics such as capacity, performance, and licensing. Complete daily, weekly, and monthly operational checklists to ensure system reliability. Escalate anomalies and issues identified during checklist execution. Support continuous improvement of monitoring and checklist processes. Key Skills & Experience Proven experience in data protection operations within IT/OT environments. Working knowledge of Commvault, RecoverPoint, and VMware backup technologies desirable. Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS, virtualization, and networking fundamentals (OSI model, TCP/IP, IPv4, LAN/WAN). Excellent documentation and reporting skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. High attention to detail and strong analytical skills. Effective communication and collaboration with technical and compliance stakeholders.
