The successful Tax Compliance Specialist will be working as part of the Tax Compliance and Tax Advisory team on a diverse and interesting portfolio of clients which operate across a broad range of sectors.
Responsibilities Planning, organising and controlling the completion of tax compliance.

Assist with planning staffing allocation and deadlines.
Provide training as needed on tax processes, firm procedures, and software to junior team members.
Requirements The successful Tax Compliance Specialist will be CTA Qualified.
Minnimum 5 years of Tax experience within an Irish practice.
Technical Knowledge of Irish Tax Framework including strong familiarity with: CT1, Form 11, VAT and PAYE obligations, Revenue filing through ROS.
Proven ability to manage a portfolio generating €150k€00k+ in annual fees.
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.

You will work in a small team that partners with various functions and Service Providers to deliver the end to end corporate tax compliance for all Meta entities in EMEA. You will also be engaged in defining and contributing to the Global Tax 2030 strategy of which process re-engineering and leveraging of automation is key. These are exciting times with the exploration & implementation of how in particular AI can ensure continued accuracy and drive further efficiencies in our expansive areas of responsibilities.
**Required Skills:**
International Tax Compliance Manager Responsibilities:
1. - You will be responsible for the end to end corporate tax compliance for a group of wide ranging Meta entities within EMEA. In this role you will partner with fellow tax colleagues, service providers and the wider international finance team to deliver timely and accurate corporate tax compliance
2. - Collaborate with our accounting colleagues to ensure the tax aspects, including the tax accounting of the statutory financial statements is correct
3. - Actively participate within the International tax operations optimisation team and ideally lead one of the many initiatives to achieve our Global Tax 2030 strategy
4. - Support the EMEA Corporate tax team with various initiatives including corporate tax audits and the support of operationalising any tax planning initiatives
5. - Partner with our US Tax colleagues for the US GAAP and US tax compliance including meeting our International SOX controls

6. - University degree, with advanced degree or professional qualification in tax or accounting
7. - 7+ years of relevant international tax experience in Big 4, law firm and/or tech industry
8. - Demonstrated experience in EMEA corporate tax compliance

11. - Evidenced success in collaborating and communicating with colleagues
12. - Hands-on and experience of consistently working under your own initiative, seeking feedback and input where appropriate

About the team Our Private Clients Tax department is the largest and fastest growing private client team in Ireland.
This multidisciplinary team advises private companies, their owners and high net worth individuals on a wide range of commercial and tax issues including asset holding structures, personal taxation, shareholder issues, succession and estate planning and buy/sell side tax advisory.
About the role: Experienced personal tax compliance manager working within the Private Client team.
Strong technical personal tax compliance knowledge and attention to detail.
Manage receipt of client information and trainee work to meet monthly tax return targets.
Responsible for reviewing trainee work and issuing personal tax returns for mainly domestic clients from a varied portfolio.
Ability to positively support junior staff in preparing income tax returns, capital gains tax and undertaking research for same.
Identify client tax compliance complications and opportunities for other work with clients.
Experience with high net worth and estate cases beneficial.
Understanding of GDPR and management of client risk.
Assist in the management of budgeting and billings for allocated clients.
Support provided by a large team of experienced staff and research facilities.
Flexibility on location.
About you: Qualified tax professional with relevant PQE Strong personal tax compliance technical knowledge with previous experience of managing compliance deadlines.
Experience of working as part of a private client team would be an advantage.
Experience in dealing with the income tax compliance aspects of offshore funds, trusts, High Income Earner Restriction and Estates would be beneficial.
An ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and comprehensive way.
Excellent client management and communication skills.

Management and oversight of working capital management objectives and other key metrics.
Identifying cross selling opportunities within our compliance portfolio and referring same to other tax departments and/or the wider firm.
Supporting the Corporate Tax Compliance Centre Directors and Partner in the ongoing management, strategic direction and advancement of the corporate tax compliance centre and the Global Delivery Model through the use of tax technology and tax transformation projects and helping to design Deloitte's future corporation tax compliance process and how we deliver our product.
Mentoring, coaching, motivating and training our onshore and offshore trainee group to be best in class in the delivery of compliance services and playing an active role in their performance appraisal process.
