UX/UI Designer- Limerick Due to their continued success our Limerick based client are now recruiting for a UX/UI Designer to join their team. The UX/UI Designer will support the user interface design, promoting a positive user experience, of all our Client's product offerings. The UX/UI Designer will design effective user interfaces, which are intuitive, comprehensive and ensure efficiency for the end-user. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and stakeholders, to understand project goals and user needs. Create user-centered design solutions that align with product vision and enhance the overall user experience. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions. Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to iterate on designs and improve user satisfaction. Ensure consistency in design elements and user interfaces across all product features and platforms. Stay informed about industry trends, design patterns, and best practices to bring innovative and cutting-edge design solutions to the product. Collaborate with development teams during the implementation phase to ensure designs are accurately translated into functional user interfaces. Advocate for user-centric design principles and contribute to the overall design strategy of the product. Work with product managers to prioritize design tasks based on project goals and timelines. Key Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in relevant field. Proven experience in software application design, demonstrating a strong portfolio of successful projects. Minimum 5 years relevant experience Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, or similar. Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Additional certifications in UI design are a plus. Solid understanding of user interface (UI) design best practices. About the role
UKG is looking for an experienced and passionate User Experience Designer that advocates for User Centered Design while connecting our users with the value they seek. The candidate will be responsible for the overall usability and quality of one or more UKG products or features.
We are looking for individuals who have a passion for design and a keen eye for details. They possess extraordinary UX/UI design skills and a proven experience of applying user-centered design principles. While exercising a good eye for aesthetics, they can grasp and distill user problems and translate them into delightful and engaging solutions.
As part of this role you work closely with key stakeholders to clearly identify the scope of the design work, the requirements and use cases; pitch concepts, present designs and advocate for the user experience across the organization.

This is a hybrid role and the expected office attendance is 2-3 days per week.
Daily Responsibilities
- Collaborating with User Researchers, Product Managers, Business Analysts and Engineering partners to articulate and refine product requirements. Contributing to product-level design discussions, workshops, decision-making and documentation that support both user goals and business strategy
- Providing product teams with clear and actionable design guidance in the form of workflows, sketches (at a wide range of fidelity), mockups, wireframes, prototypes, etc.
- Creatively applying the principles and standards of our Design System in your practice, while contributing to its growth and evolution
- Testing concepts, performing task and user analysis, and assisting with user acceptance testing
- Delivering high-quality, well-documented work that is aligned to and synchronizes with your collaborators
- Champion customer-centric, responsive/adaptive design methodologies by Architecting, Designing and Supporting new interfaces/experiences
- Prototyping that succinctly illustrates hierarchy and navigation
Required Qualifications
- A strong background in motion design is preferred for creating engaging and intuitive user experiences in both prototyping and production. Familiarity with tools like Adobe After Effects, Figma, Framer, and Principle are key. Expertise in these programs will play a key role in our design process, ensuring our solutions are both functional and delightful.
- 5-7 years work experience with a focus on product and UX/UI design across a variety of platforms including web, mobile & tablets
- A passion for design and a great eye for detail
- Strong problem-solving and design thinking skills and the ability to think creatively to overcome design challenges.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient in industry-standard design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision)
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
