Key Responsibilities:
  • Serve as MRC's senior representative in Europe, strengthening the organization'svisibility and voice across the region.

Qualifications

Responsibilities Your Role: Your primary responsibility to assist in monitoring execution of the firm's Enterprise Risk Management Framework, working with the business Risk Managers to embed robust risk and control governance structures. * Leads and/or supports the delivery of regulatory-driven Risk Management projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory deadlines and requirements; * Provides subject matter expertise in regulatory interpretation and implementation; * Provide holistic approach to risk analytics able to lead on initiatives across the risk universe; * Review business requirements from FRM and propose Excel / Access-based solutions; * Work with FRM and Group Functions such as Business Intelligence and IT on identifying data requirements and potential solutions for FRM EUC applications; * Deliver updates in an agile manner, enabling incremental improvements to existing processes; * Develop and improve analytical and reporting tools in line with regulatory and business needs for Credit, Liquidity and Market Risk; * Perform BAU and ad-hoc analysis, including developing new approaches where needed; * Support the FRM team with knowledge-sharing. Qualifications About You: * Degree or qualification in a numerical discipline or equivalent experience; * Ideally 6+ years experience in Financial Risk with exposure to Basel III and EU CRR regulations * Strong independent working capability with minimal supervision, able to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion; * Proven ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into clear, actionable plans; * Solution-oriented approach with proven ability to develop and implement practical, effective solutions to complex problems; * Candidates must be highly numerate and have a logical, analytical and thorough approach; * Execution-focused and keen to deliver and improve high-value tools for stakeholders; * Significant experience developing EUC tools with expertise in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access, including strong knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL; * Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential; * Demonstrated experience in independently managing multiple priorities and delivering results in a fast-paced environment; * Excellent attention to detail; and * An adaptable team player with a proactive approach to problem resolution. #LI-BM1 Skills: risk financial risk basil II
