**Job Summary**
Responsible for the Maintenance Team Leader of the on-site maintenance team as well as the teams continuous Improvement and growth. Reporting into the Process and Asset Reliability Manager, the Maintenance Team Leader will drive change within Maintenance, putting into place preventative maintenance standards, reliability improvement projects as well as reacting to unplanned downtime events.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
**General**
+ Support attainment of key business metrics through the provision of maintenance support for value stream processes
+ Manage the execution of the Preventative Maintenance program for the assigned value streams.
+ Project Management - provide timely and accurate reporting on project activities ensuring projects are delivered to agreed timelines as well as Root Cause Analysis and implementation of robust solutions to downtime issues.
+ Support the company's manufacturing programme, by ensuring response times to equipment breakdowns are kept to a minimum.
+ Assist the department in achievement of world class M.T.T.R. and M.T.B.F. and DOWNTIME Metric.
+ Reporting of work status on a timely basis to the Process and Asset Reliability Manager and Value Stream Leaders and team leaders.
+ Promote and participate in the Maintenance Continuous Improvement Process.
**HS&E**
+ Participate and implement the 5s program within the Value Streams and technical Services areas.
+ Ensure compliance to all aspects of the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
+ Minimise the environmental effects of all work that a technician performs.
+ Responsible for the safe & efficient operation of equipment onsite
+ Responsible for ensuring contractors comply with company environmental policy regulations & also for waste management within areas of responsibility
+ All employees are responsible for minimizing both the Environmental and Health & Safety effects of the work that they perform.
**Cost**
+ Promote an environment of continuous improvement and innovation in line with lean thinking and Manufacturing Equipment Excellence.
+ Maintain a log of activities carried out on equipment i.e. actual hours works, spare parts used, equipment downtime etc using the site Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
+ Provide timely and accurate reporting on downtime, budget and projects.
+ Manage costs through the delivery of reliability and cost improvement projects.
**Supply**
+ Assist in the implement the Total Asset Care program within the Value Streams.
+ Support N.P.D. and N.P.I. projects during development and introduction to the facility.
**People**
+ Management of the maintenance team to include resource planning, training and development opportunities
**Quality**
+ Ensure all activities are carried out in accordance with the GMP requirements.
+ To adhere to all the company's procedures as detailed in the relevant CSOP's.
+ Ensure timely closure of quality actions such as Audit Actions, NCR's and CAPA's.
**Experience and Education**
**Essential**
+ To be part of this high performing team you will have great attention to detail, alongside
+ BSc degree or equivalent in a relevant Engineering discipline.
+ Previous exposure of working within the medical devices or Manufacturing industry
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills
+ Demonstrated ability to understand technical issues and provide practical and cost-effective engineering solutions.
+ Experience with automated equipment. 5 axis CNC Machining exposure preferred
+ Previous exposure within a team lead/ supervisory experience and ability to make effective decisions
+ Experience of working in a regulated industry (FDA, ISO etc) desired
+ Excellent communication, both written and verbal, with senior stakeholders and employees
+ Ability to coach and mentor others to succeed
+ Strong Maintenance/ Engineering skills
+ Highly organized with great attention to detail
**Desirable**
+ Previous experience working with a CMMS preferably Maximo within a maintenance environment
+ Min 3years experience in an FDA maintenance environment.
