**Primary Function / Goals / Objectives**
+ Follow all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations in the plant.

+ The Projects Engineer is responsible for consulting any SOP's for any job task he/she may carry out and ensure they fully understand and adhere to the SOP.
+ Housekeeping is a critical function of all jobs and the Project Engineer is expected to ensure all personnel working under his/her supervision ensure housekeeping activities are observed and carried out appropriately. **The Opportunity**
Our location in Ireland, currently has an opportunity for **Regulatory Intelligence Project Manager,** specifically supporting the Abbott Nutrition EMEA region.
This position will manage compliance related activities and assessments linked to new regulation or changes to existing regulations and lead multiple associated medium to large-scale projects that support Abbott Nutrition's Regulatory Affairs strategic and compliance objectives.
This regional position will independently interface with Abbott affiliates, AN Division, AN manufacturing plants, R&D, Quality, Supply Chain and others. **WHAT YOU'LL DO**

+ Ensure timely tracking and update of draft regulations/standards in relevant platforms and SharePoint

Required
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline/or equivalent work experience is required (Chemistry, Microbiology, Food Science, Engineering, Business Administration).
+ 5-7 years in a regulated nutritional food-manufacturing environment, preferably pediatric or medical nutrition products, in a Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Project Management, Procurement or Operations function and good knowledge of food and nutrition regulations.
+ 3-5 years' experience in project roles.

The role of Senior Automation Engineer will involve the following
**PURPOSE OF THE JOB:**
This is a senior role accountable for helping to develop and implement a robust Automation strategy across the site. Working with the Site Engineering Manager and Divisional Engineering the role will co-ordinate inputs from all Site functions, IT, sister sites, Vendors along with automation SMEs here in Cootehill to implement appropriate solutions and investments required to execute against same.
This is a key role that will require excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills, and will interact with all levels of the organisation, ensuring competing priorities are managed objectively and in line with the overall business strategy.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operational Technology Strategy & Roadmap:
+ Give input to develop and maintain the OT Strategy and Roadmap for the site including Industry 4.0 and Smart Factory (digital) opportunities.
+ Use detailed technical / systems standards that support the OT strategy, employing Best Available Technology.
+ Foster a standardised approach to automation across all areas of the site
+ OT Project Governance:
+ Ensure projects involving OT elements are aligned with the site strategy and business needs.

**Education & Experience**
+ Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering or Computer Science) is required with 5+ years of business working experience in a technology function in operations / manufacturing environment .
+ Experience in the delivery and management of automated systems in addition to a working knowledge of GAMP software development lifecycle, ANSI/ISA-S88, S95 and PackML industry standards.
+ Experience dealing with a large portfolio of systems, projects and initiatives in the areas of Information Systems, Automation and Operations.
+ Candidates will have worked on automation systems in cGMP regulated manufacturing environments, and will be knowledgeable regarding FDA cGxP and 21 CFR Part 11 regulations, and understand software system validation in this context, is desired.

+ The Management Accountant is responsible for consulting any SOP's for any job task he/she may carry out and ensure they fully understand and adhere to the SOP.

**Role Purpose:**
This is a great opportunity to join a market leader within the Nutrition Manufacturing Industry and work in a dynamic global environment. For this role, you will ideally have 5+ years of relevant multinational experience in a manufacturing environment. The key scope of this role is to manage the day to day running of the finance department and to lead the generation of monthly management accounts, doing all of this is a fast paced environment and working to tight deadlines. ? **PURPOSE OF THE JOB:**
The **Process Manager's** main responsibilities will include;
+ Ensure that both they and everyone under their direction follow all Health and Safety Rules and Regulations in the plant.
+ Report any current or potential hazards to your immediate manager immediately
+ Consulting any SOP's for all tasks he/she may carry out and ensure they fully understand and adhere to the SOP.

**Major Responsibilities**
+ Manages and executes complex projects in a highly regulated, quality-controlled food manufacturing environment with specialist Evaporation and Spray Drying equipment for infant formula manufacturing.
+ Models manufacturing and automated processes in the process area in order to maximise understanding within the function.
+ Oversight, coaching and capability development of the technical team within the Value stream
+ that Ensures that all new equipment is validated as per QA procedures.
+ Calculates and organizes all data for complex process flow sheets, including instrumentation and control considerations. Ensures proper sequence of operation and prepares specifications and operating instructions for processing equipment.
+ Conducts tests and measurements throughout stages of production to determine control over such variables as temperature, density, pressure and viscosity, etc.
+ Services, troubleshoots, and solves engineering problems with processes or equipment via a cross-functional structured problem-solving approach.
+ Ensures processes and procedures are in compliance with regulatory requirements.
+ May be responsible for corrective and preventive actions, and investigation management.
+ Develops, communicates, and implements operational plans for completing complex specialist projects in the area.
+ Takes pro-active action to resolve operational problems and minimize downtime.
+ Participates in selecting and managing the activities of contractors to ensure they are integrated into the relevant projects and the organization receives satisfactory standards of service.
**EDUCATION & COMPETENCIES:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Food Process Engineering or equivalent discipline.
+ Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Engineering.
+ Prior experience in a Dairy/Food Process Engineering role is very desirable
+ Knowledge of Spray drying operations and/or Evaporation is desirable
+ Knowledge or experience in Thermal processing of Dairy based products is desirable
+ Knowledge or experience in Powder conveying systems.
+ Knowledge or experience in ATEX rated environments and their constraints
+ Experienced in highly Automated Manufacturing Environments with a solid understanding of pharma/food processing equipment is essential.

**Major Responsibilities**
+ Interfaces with the Technical and Commerical organisation to integrate new products or processes into the existing manufacturing area. Manage the validation & introduction of these changes ensuring all launch activities are completed on time and in full with no impact to product cost or quality.
+ Monitors performance of equipment, machines and tool and corrects equipment problems or process parameters that produce low OEE's, non-conforming products and low yields.

+ Implements a staffing plan by identifying resource requirements, writing justifications for additional personnel, obtaining approval for changes and co-ordinating the selection process with human resources.
+ Develop direct reports by securing appropriate training, assigning progressively challenging tasks, applying progressive disciplinary action as appropriate and conducting formal written and verbal performance reviews.
+ Monitors daily work operations and provides direction and guidance to lower - level managers, experienced employees to achieve project goals.
+ Oversees the project management activity in the department by closely monitoring all Capital, PIER, OEE, Quality and other project related initiatives ensuring all are implemented compliantly, on time, in full and within budget.

**Education Required**

**Supervisory/Management Responsibilities**
+ This role reports into the Process Engineering Manager
+ Maintenance supervisors report into this position with indirect responsibility over maintenance craft/technicians.
**Education Required:**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.
**Knowledge**
+ Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Engineering.
+ Preference is given to an Engineer with an electrical background with a working knowledge of industrial systems.
+ Knowledge of an Automated Manufacturing Environment with a good solid understanding of food processing equipment is essential
+ The ability to organize, motivate and understand people (Contractors, Equipment Suppliers and team members)
+ Minimum 3 years managing a Team.
+ Prior experience in a Dairy/Food Process Engineering role is preferential, or indepth experience with Evaporators and Spray Dryers
+ Ability to multi-task and to work in a high paced environment with an awareness of continued impact on production and the plant performance.
+ Organised and resourceful with excellent attention to detail and ability to get the job done
+ Proven ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
