**Job Responsibilities:**

**Required Qualifications:**

We are currently recruiting for Manufacturing Technicians across area's such as Surface Mount Technology, E Beam, Packing and Puck. In this role you will provide technical support relating to equipment utilized in the manufacturing areas by repairing, maintaining, or modifying production equipment utilizing technical expertise, technical manuals, schematic drawings, precision tools, and test equipment. You will utilize data reports on equipment and systems to generate improvement initiatives, monitor machine output on the shift to and ensure all cells are running to cycle time, to meet specific OEE targets. Perform and/or participate with conducting routine maintenance checks to ensure the operational efficiency of machines and production equipment is maintained to the desired standards. Monitor processes, running diagnostic tests with products and equipment, create a comprehensive report for resolution methods, familiar with asset maintenance software (Maximo preferable).
Your main responsibilities will be:
+ Activities include conducting scheduled maintenance, diagnosing, and troubleshooting faults and undertaking repairs, and selecting, engaging, and working with outside contractors.
+ Performs the most complex skilled maintenance and repair such as mechanical, pneumatics, electrical systems.
+ Ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.
+ Good understanding on day-to-day operation for conveyors, depositors, p&p machines, and weighing machines.
+ Assist in the compilation and presentation of technical feedback on engineering performance relating to yield output.
+ Lead on maintenance and/or process issues and to work independently or as a team member.
+ Monitor production processes, running diagnostic tests with products and equipment, and create a comprehensive report for resolution methods
+ Certifies and train manufacturing associates in the production processes.
+ Evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment. May develop or revise documents and procedures.
+ Identifies and implements corrective actions for manufacturing related issues.
+ Installs and validates equipment and processes in the production area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedure.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
+ Min level 6 in technical related discipline.
+ Electrical and mechanical skills are desired.
+ Must have excellent knowledge with industrial machines and the mechanical industry, as their expertise is crucial in keeping the safety and security of all production staff.
+ Experience within a Computerized Maintenance Management Work Order system environment.

As a Warehouse Operator, in Abbott, Kilkenny you will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality Storage and Warehousing service is provided to the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Departments, including but not limited to the receipt, storage and shipment of materials and products, whilst adhering to and maintaining Abbott Quality policies and procedures and to the required service level.
**Your main responsibilities will be:**
- To Perform activities related to the receipt, storage, inventory control and shipment of materials.
- Compliance with EHS systems, programs and procedures, being accountable for the health and safety of themselves and others by highlighting where improvements can be made.
- Routine material handling tasks related to the receipt, movement and shipment of materials and Finished goods.
- Receiving deliveries to site and recording the data on the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
-Pick and stage materials based on production work orders and kanban process.
- Pick, prepare and dispatch materials for sub-contract or third-party manufacture processing, arranging transport as necessary.
- To pick, prepare and dispatch Finished Goods for distribution.
- Process transactions related to the receipt, issue, shipment, or transfer of materials in ERP system.
- Perform regular inventory counts as per the requirements of the site PIC requirements (Physical Inventory Control Procedures), and Cycle Count procedures.
- Work with Operations Planning Team members to resolve any issues related to the receipt and approval of materials.
- Ensure that equipment is kept in a good, safe condition in terms of mechanical functionality and cleanliness. Continually maintain a high level of housekeeping. Keep all areas clean, safe and tidy, reporting any cleaning and safety issues to the Warehouse Lead.
- Support the development of a safe working environment and proactively identify any safety issues and report to the Warehouse Lead.
-Operate warehouse machinery and equipment in accordance to manufactures recommendations and training protocols.
**QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE**
- Strong Communication skills.
- Must be comfortable and confident working at heights. (VNA Operation)
- Previous forklift experience desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous experience in Stores / Warehouse environment desirable.

Abbott Diabetes Care has opened a new site, in Kilkenny, that is at the forefront of Diabetes care with the latest technology, to manufacture Freestyle blood glucose test strips and Freestyle Sensors for use in diabetes management. Among Abbott Diabetes Care leading brands are the Freestyle Precision, Freestyle Lite and Freestyle Libre systems.

As a Vision Engineer, you will provide expertise and support to manufacturing processes. You will lead vision-related continuous improvement updates, support the sourcing, qualification, and maintenance of cutting-edge computer vision systems, and provide vision training for engineering personnel. This role will be based at our ADC Kilkenny site and may involve occasional travel for training and project implementation.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Support the design, implementation, and validation of Machine Vision projects (mainly Cognex Insight Spreadsheet environment) for existing and new manufacturing equipment.
+ Conduct code review/debugging of a wide spectrum of bespoke vision jobs/algorithms.
+ Implement software changes for vision systems.
+ Investigate issues and develop solutions for Machine Vision applications.
+ Perform characterization, optimization, emulation, and data analysis on proposed Vision jobs.
+ Collaborate with other internal functions (e.g., QA, Operations, Engineering).
+ Standardize best machine vision practices across the site.
+ Lead vision-related projects.
+ Provide vision training for engineering personnel.
**Education and Experience:**
+ Degree in Engineering or Science equivalent.
+ Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent is desirable.
+ Minimum 3 years of machine vision engineering work experience, preferably in a regulated high-volume automated manufacturing environment.
+ Demonstrated expertise with Cognex Insight hardware/software platform (spreadsheet environment) for at least 3 years.
+ Experience with optics, lighting techniques, troubleshooting/diagnostics, and vision algorithm development, with interfaces to PLC/HMI systems.
+ Extensive knowledge of vision tools such as histograms, edge tools, blob tools, OCR, logic, image processing techniques, and job profiling.
+ Completion of Cognex advanced spreadsheet training, Cognex Vison Pro, Designer and Keyence vision systems.
+ Good knowledge of data analysis/statistical methods.
+ Experience with GDP/GMP/GAMP.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Exceptional attention to detail.

Unum Technology Centre in Carlow serves as a strategic software development and IT services centre supporting Unum, a leading provider of income protection in the US. Our team of IT professionals build solutions and critical business applications to digitally transform the way we do business.
As a Red Team Operator, you will perform security assessments to improve the overall security posture of the organization. These assessments will focus on simulating real-world attacks whilst demonstrating impact and making recommendations to protect Unum.
**The Role:**
+ Perform various types of security assessments:
+ Red team exercises.
+ Purple team exercises.
+ Ad-hoc testing or analysis of security controls and technologies as required, such as: control evaluation, external/internal network assessments and application pentesting.
+ Contribute to the development of internal tools and techniques to aid red team operations.
+ Contribute to the overall development of Unum's Offensive Security programme by reviewing and improving its processes, tools and methodologies.
+ Provide input on information security strategies and program development.
+ Provide analysis and testing of emerging techniques and threats.
+ Provide analysis for remediation and mitigation strategies of discovered security issues.
+ Communicate using reports and presentations, the impact of observed security findings to both technical and executive audiences.
**What you offer:**
+ Understanding and experience in application and network security assessment methodologies, tools, and techniques.
+ BS or advanced degree in computer science or related discipline preferred or comparable work experience.
+ Strong oral and written communications skills.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and proactive thinking skills.

+ Excellent scripting knowledge across various scripting languages.

+ Practical Offensive Security certifications are desired but not necessary:
