Job Description
The E,C&I Team Lead is responsible for managing a team that covers all aspects of Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Maintenance on the plant to ensure safe, reliable and efficient plant operations.
**Job Description**
As E,C&I Team Lead you report to the Operation and Maintenance Leader and:
+ Provide leadership to the maintenance team (Instrument & Control) in the day to day maintenance activities.
+ Develop, supervise and co-ordinate plant maintenance activities.
+ Plan and inspect completed work on plant equipment.
+ Assign general, preventive and corrective maintenance jobs to maintenance technicians
+ Execute work order through the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and co-ordinate within the team for job completion and technical matters.
+ Maintain records, prepare reports and compose correspondence relative to work. Acquire considerable knowledge of the process and the relevant mechanical and electrical systems throughout the plant and apply the same to trouble shoot problems and lead the maintenance team in resolving the issue.
+ Promote development and succession management in the team.
+ Train the subordinates on preventive and corrective maintenance.
+ Assist Maintenance Manager in planning and scheduling outage works with due regard to annual scheduled maintenance plan.
+ Assess plant needs for spare parts & supplies and generate material requisitions.
+ Co-ordinate with Stores and Procurement for inventory management.
+ Control plant inventory via the CMMS system
+ Acquire full knowledge of EHS policies & procedures and ensures compliance.
+ Evaluate, plan and actively participate in plant housekeeping.
+ Assist and co-ordinate with EHS Manager/Supervisor on all EHS activities including implementation of policies/procedures, inspections and audits.
+ Ensure compliance in all areas of Health, Safety and Environmental programs and procedures as applicable to the maintenance activities.
+ Develop training schedules/plans for the members in the team
+ Control all maintenance documents as outlined on the site Master List of Controlled Documents. Page 1 of 2 GE O&M Site Personnel
+ Communicate effectively with managers, peers and team fellows, both verbally and in writing
+ Available for emergency on call duties on power plant .
Requirements:
+ Graduate Engineer in Instrumentation & Control from an accredited College or University or relevant working experience.
+ Proven and relevant power plant Operations & Maintenance experience.
+ GE Aero Power Plant Experience is a benefit.

The Operations Technician is responsible for a safe and efficient operation of the Power Station, according to the Grid Company demands and the contract with the Customer, taking emergency action, where necessary. The Operator will be working in the field and the control room.
**Job Description**
As Operator you report to the Operations Shift Leader and:
+ To operate and monitor the, Distributed Control System, HMI, Continuous Emissions Monitoring, and all other control room and station control systems in order to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the plant and process
+ Ensure compliance with all site Quality Procedures, Work Instructions and EHS Policy and Procedures
+ Ensure Station operates within customers PPA limits
+ Understand and respond to variances in normal station operating parameters and take necessary corrective actions in order to maintain safe operation of the station from the control room or in the field
+ Monitor plant and process to ensure that operation is in accordance with all relevant Operating Procedures
+ Perform operations monitoring rounds in the field and support the maintenance of the equipment with routine interventions
+ Monitor and follow all generating profiles as dispatched via the grid control center, and follow all (National) grid control center instructions
+ Report items beyond the scope and capabilities of shift personnel to Shift Supervisor
+ Maintain and update all routines, schedules and reports with relevant plant operating data
+ Report unsafe conditions, events and hazards to the Shift Supervisor
+ Assist in routine testing of plant and equipment
+ Report equipment deficiencies and record required information into the computerized maintenance management system to direct repairs
+ Follow Operating Procedures and work instructions when carrying out any activity and report any deficiencies when identified
Qualifications / Requirements:
+ Practical Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical)
+ Substantial experience as an Operator, preferably in a Power Station
+ Fluent in the local language and in English (both verbal and written)
+ Able to learn fast and work independently

Amazon Logistics, or AMZL, handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. A day in the life
Our RME Technicians are based on-site, so they can respond quickly to any machinery issues. You'll carry out a range of planned preventative maintenance to our sites' equipment to make sure it's working safely. As an RME Technician, you'll also respond promptly to breakdowns, investigating, finding, and implementing solutions as quickly as possible. You'll also make suggestions for long-term improvements.
Working alongside senior colleagues, you'll undertake day-to-day maintenance tasks like painting and plumbing and will liaise with contractors if you need external expertise. You'll work on a range of shifts to make sure our sites are supported around the clock - allowing Amazon to deliver at the speed we're known for.
About the team
Our Reliability Maintenance Engineering or RME team keep our equipment performing at its best. We're a technically minded team, made up of excellent team players and guided by experienced leaders. We work together to maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment across our global network of fulfilment centres. Some of our people are leaders, who oversee the team as they work on exciting technology - some of which only exists at Amazon.
From installing automated packaging systems to overseeing the general maintenance of a site to repairing key distribution equipment, our team handles most aspects of Amazon's technical side. This includes keeping buildings legally compliant, so everyone is safe, and our sites are operating at maximum efficiency. There are lots of opportunities for progression, both within the RME team and more widely across Amazon.
Everything we do focuses on reducing downtime in Amazon's crucial operations sites, so customers get their orders on time. We often work during early or late hours to carry out maintenance with minimal disruption, including night shifts. If we spot a better way to do something, we have the skills and the opportunity to develop and introduce completely new processes or cutting-edge tech like Amazon Robotics and our Complex Item Sorter.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Need to have NFQ6 (Higher Certificate or Advanced Certificate in Engineering) or Solace/Solas level 6 mechanical/ Electrical or Mechatronics.
- Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
- Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment)/Automation systems.
- Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/inverters. Please be prepared to provide proof of qualifications obtained as part of Amazon's Terms of Employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Apprentice Trained, HNC, HND, BSc, BEng
• Experience of high voltage switching.
• Experience of sortation machines.
• Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners.
• Experience of print and apply machines.
• Experience in fault finding on building equipment i.e HVAC, Dock Doors, plumbing and general building maintenance tasks.
