+ Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features.

**Qualifications**
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Technical experience in network design, development, and automation
+ OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
+ OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical experience in network design, development, and automation
+ OR Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
+ Experience in networking, scripting, and software development. Familiarity/hands on experience with any network device operating systems (Sonic, Arista, Cisco, Juniper)
+ Cisco CCNA (or equivalent) and experience with Linux/Unix operating systems and Windows servers
+ Experience with writing automation in languages such as Python, Powershell or C#
+ Experience with writing scripts that use REST APIs, Syslog, xml, SNMP, and other Network Management Systems
**Other Qualifications:**
+ Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
+ Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

+ Leadership, coordination, and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently on complex tasks.
+ Motivated to drive leading edge technologies. Understanding of TCP/IP, BGP and AnyCast
