The Opportunity
As
Fund Accounting Supervisor
, you'll play a key role in the production, review and delivery of accurate and timely NAVs across a portfolio of Alternative Investment Funds. You'll oversee daily fund accounting operations, provide review and quality control over deliverables, and act as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced fund accounting professional ready to step into a leadership role with exposure to complex structures, private market funds and an ambitious, growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and sign off on daily/weekly/monthly NAVs, ensuring accuracy and adherence to control frameworks.
- Oversee calculations for fund fees, capital activity, expenses, and income.
- Review and maintain accounting records, general ledgers and trial balances.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client queries related to NAV production.
- Support new fund launches, ensuring operational readiness and smooth onboarding.
- Develop strong relationships across internal teams, clients, and third-party service providers.
- Supervise, train, and mentor analysts, providing regular feedback and coaching.
- Contribute to departmental projects, process improvements and best-practice initiatives.
About You
- 4+ years' experience in fund accounting or fund operations, ideally within Alternative Funds.
- Exposure to private markets or closed-ended fund structures is an advantage.
- Understanding of partnership structures, fee agreements and performance fee methodologies.
- Strong analytical and accounting skills, including trial balance review and reconciliation.
- Third-level qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred.
- ACCA qualification (or progression towards it) desirable but not essential.
- Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.

Job Description
Main Responsibilities
- Review cash and position reconciliations
- Prepare expenses schedules including calculation of management and carried interest/performance fees
- Prepare investor allocations for each NAV period
- Ensure NAV and all other client deliverables are completed accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with the relevant approved procedure
- Assist in preparation of quarterly/annual Financial Statements and annual audit
- Serve as operational contact for a range of clients and therefore excellent written and verbal communication skills are a prerequisite
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of offshore and onshore fund structures for closed ended funds
- Open, accurate and timely communication with all colleagues
- Ability to cover all funds within the team when required;
- Work with Manager to mentor and train more junior colleagues
- Work on projects / Adhoc tasks as required.
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years' fund accounting background with experience in Alternatives / Private Equity / Private Debt Funds
- Knowledge of eFront preferred (Geneva or Investran beneficial)
- Have a strong knowledge of loan/debt products, private equity structures and waterfall calculations
- Strong Excel knowledge is essential
- Individual who takes initiative and ownership of assigned responsibilities
- Strong oral and written communication skills
