The Role
We are seeking a curious, innovative Data Scientist / AI Engineer to join our rapidly growing Data Science team. This team pioneers AI-driven solutions spanning advanced algorithms, generative AI, and autonomous AI agents. Your work will enhance internal efficiencies, elevate our product and service offerings, and unlock new monetizable AI-powered capabilities for our customers.

You will collaborate closely with Data Engineers, Product Managers, and Analytics teams to design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art AI models and agentic systems that deliver measurable business impact. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions including advanced algorithms, generative AI models, and autonomous AI agents to solve complex business challenges and enhance customer experiences.
  • Build scalable, reliable AI/ML pipelines and infrastructure in partnership with Data Engineering and Analytics teams.
  • Automate end-to-end AI workflows: model training, evaluation, deployment, and continuous monitoring to ensure robustness and performance.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 3+ years’ experience in AI, data science, or machine learning engineering roles.
  • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake) and their AI/ML services.
  • Proficiency in SQL and working with large-scale data warehouses.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, model versioning, and monitoring.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in an agile, fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex AI concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Experience with generative AI models (e.g., GPT, diffusion models) and AI agents (e.g., conversational agents, autonomous systems).

**Key Responsibilities** **:**
+ Provide customer support to DataRobot AI Platform users via the SalesForce ServiceCloud ticketing system during 5:30 AM - 1:30 PM IST (12 AM - 8 AM UTC)
+ Help customers over email or Zoom/Webex meetings to facilitate issue resolution
+ Work with product, engineering, and data science teams to resolve customer issues
+ Create workarounds when standard procedures have failed and ensure issues are solved in a timely manner
+ Document customer issues and resolutions, create knowledge base content related to software usage
+ Participate in AI Support projects to develop models and tools to automate and improve customer service
+ Weekend Severity 1 on-call rotation
+ Participate in production incidents (IR) on the DataRobot MTS (SaaS) platform as an Incident Communicator
**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:**
+ Bachelor in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, or equivalent.
+ 3+ years of industry customer support experience
+ Hands-on experience with troubleshooting Kubernetes-based applications
+ Knowledge of cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
+ Linux administration, networking, and containerization (Docker).
+ Python scripting skills for automation and debugging purposes.
+ Experience using AI tools in daily operations and support tasks
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical audiences.
**Nice to have** **:**
+ Support experience with AI / ML enterprise applications
+ Understanding of AI / ML model training lifecycle
+ Incident management experience on SaaS platforms
