+ Experience in developing and maturing CI/CD pipeline with respect to code quality and detecting vulnerabilities.

+ 2+ years of experience with container security issues and container technologies
+ Through understanding of the components of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle

**Introduction**
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer to join our IBM MQ Software as a Service (SaaS) development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge cloud technologies, including container orchestration, continuous integration, and automated deployment. You will contribute to the delivery of new features, maintain and enhance CI/CD pipelines, and ensure the reliability and performance of our live services.
The MQ SaaS team operates using Agile development practices, with all members actively involved in planning, development, testing, and usability tasks within their Delivery Team. We value team players who are enthusiastic, highly motivated, and eager to work across disciplines. A strong understanding of continuous delivery techniques is essential to maintain the stability of our live service.

**Your role and responsibilities**
· Develop and deliver robust, scalable features for the MQ SaaS offering.
· Collaborate effectively within a distributed global team.
· Investigate and resolve issues across the development lifecycle.
· Take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
· Support customer issues and contribute to service reliability.
**Please note - This position requires working onsite a minimum of 3 days per week at our Dublin location
**Required technical and professional expertise**
· Proficiency in Golang or similar languages.
· Experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift and container orchestration.
· Familiarity with container technologies (e.g., Docker).
· Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash).
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
**Preferred technical and professional experience**
· 5+ years of experience in software development.
· Proven track record in Agile delivery and working in fast-paced environments.
· Experience in full-stack development and a desire to grow in this area.
· Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies.
· Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment best practices.
