Key Responsibilities The role includes a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: Design and develop immersive training programmes to enhance learning experiences. Collaborate with subject matter experts to create engaging and effective training materials. Research and apply emerging trends, including Gen AI, to enhance content creation and delivery. Establish and manage systems and processes to support the training design immersive function. Provide guidance and support to trainers and design team members to ensure high-quality delivery. Lead upskilling and development initiatives for the Training Design team for immersive learning. Manage multiple concurrent projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives. Emphasise creativity in designing training materials and programmes to ensure they are engaging and effective. Adaptability in responding to changing needs and feedback to continuously improve training programmes. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes through feedback and performance metrics. Experience and Qualifications Essential Third Level degree or equivalent in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, or a related field. Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in training design and development. Proven experience in applying immersive technologies (e.g. AR/VR, 3D modelling, gaming engines). Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and project management skills. Experience with e-learning platforms. Proficiency in e.g., Blender, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, etc. Desirable Experience in technical or safety-critical training environments. Job Description

Training Specialist required for a leading pharmaceutical facility in Limerick, to develop the Site Training Content/Systems/Programmes. Initially a 12 month contract. ROLE: The Training Specialist will be responsible for providing support in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of the function training content, system and providing training support associated with the governance of the Training system. The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting activities in the creation, co-ordination, and implementation of learning solutions across the Function business area. Support the continued set up and roll out of the Corporate Training Management System Support activities in the design, development and management of training materials, curricula, and learning plans for the Function. Assist in the creation and management of Function training documents in accordance with site Training SOP. Produce reports from Learning Management System. Training compliance. Support training qualification compliance management. Provide general assistance with the scheduling and organising of training courses. Ensure training documentation requirements are included in the functional or training schedules Take training tools and templates to the WS/functions and guide the teams through the usage thereof Ensure Instructor Qualifications are met, where applicable Ensure a plan exists for path to qualification (exemption based on start-up experience, standard Instructor Led Training, On-the-Job Training, off-site training, other) Assist with the implementation of new training initiatives which may include process improvement projects and new products introduction etc. Requirements: Hons Degree in relevant discipline ideally. Experienced in using multiple Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eQMS systems. Proficient in MS Office applications and training development Experience with cGMPs requirements. Strong interpersonal skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills ability to handle/prioritise multiple projects and requests.
