- Build .NET applications based on product requirements

Qualifications, Requirements And Experience
- Min Level 7 degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
- Proven .NET experience (.Net Core or .Net Framework).
- Commercial architecture experience with cloud technologies – Azure.
- Familiarity with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF), ASP.NET frameworks, MMSQL Server and design architecture patterns.
- Proven experience with C# .NET language and SQL, YAML and XML.
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).
- An understanding of asynchronous programming.
- Experience and good understanding of design patterns.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies.
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
- Work as necessary in the heavy machinery environment at container terminals and assist with crane commissioning.
- Willingness to travel internationally on occasion.

We are hiring a Software Engineer on the Core Desktop team. In this role, you'll join a dedicated team of professionals to build the next generation of immutable Ubuntu desktop. Our goal is to put Linux desktops back at the forefront of security, reliability and usability. In this project we combine the best ideas of immutable Linux with the latest Linux desktop experience to bring our global ecosystem of developers a much better platform for innovation. We mostly code in system languages such as C/C++ and use Python and Shell scripting as well. Occasionally we use Go, and Dart / Flutter. What your day will look like
- Design and develop elements of the Core Desktop.
- Work with the latest Linux container technologies - kernel namespaces, cgroups, apparmour, seccomp and more
- Write high quality, defensive and performant code for millions of demanding daily users
- Collaborate with team members to understand the intricacies of immutable desktops.
- Participate in code reviews to gain a deep understanding of quality standards and architecture.
- Engage with the Ubuntu community to gather user feedback and insights.
- Contribute to documentation to aid in your learning and that of future team members.
- Take part in regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and upcoming development sprints.

About The Role
As a
Front End Engineer
at Rent the Runway, you'll be working with a team of engineers focused on our services responsible for e-commerce functionality, customer notifications, and customer order management. You value creativity and user experience as much as great code and curiosity. As underlying services scale for growth, you'll be adapting our user interfaces to connect with new and improved workflows. You'll be responsible for enhancements in the UI for customer experience agents using our internal tools and for keeping our front ends at a high standard of quality. You will also play a role in introducing new architectural features to keep our applications modern, performant, and maintainable.

- Participate in all aspects of agile software development including design, implementation, and deployment for the user Interface of internal tools that power our back of house systems
