Electrical Assembly Technician Automation Manufacturing Equipment Our clients are a growing firm and part of a multi-national group. The are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Assembly Technician with the possibility to progress to Team Lead. The Technician will join their them of engineers who design and build bespoke manufacturing equipment. The Role: Installation of electrical components and wiring in accordance with schematic diagrams. Installation of pneumatic components, pipework, and equipment in accordance with pneumatics diagrams. Preparation and assembly of cable and pipe ways, bracketing and support systems. Connection of electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components. Carrying out pre-commissioning checks and testing. Preventative maintenance of systems by routine inspection. Performing effective diagnostics to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace damaged components. Preventative maintenance of systems by routine inspection. The Person: Proven experience as an electrical fitter. Proven experience wiring control panels, PLC, Servo/Stepper motors and controls etc. Experience in industrial and/or commercial electrical systems/automation and controls systems Ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) Ability to follow and understand electrical and pneumatic schematic diagrams and drawings. Ability to guide Junior Electrical Assembly Technicians on their day-to-day tasks. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures and applicable regulations and guidelines. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability. Good health, physically mobile, happy and able to work in a variety of industrial environments. Production Technician - County Westmeath. This position will operate across a 4-cycle shift Job Purpose: The Technician plays a key role in production, starting up and shutting down moulding machines and processes, and assisting with validating new products in production. Core Duties and Responsibilities Start-up moulding machines and programme robots Problem identification, analysis and resolution. Work on continuous process improvement Carry out validation for new projects using scientific injection moulding approach Write validation documentation against production processes and systems in compliance to internal and external requirements utilising well developed technical and regulatory skills Develop the most optimum moulding process and tooling and automation that meets or exceeds customer requirements on new tooling Ensure Quality System documentation is thorough, complete, and compliant. Participation in continuous improvement programs to implement improvements in the quality, safety, environmental and production systems at the site. Interested applicants should have: Ideally level 6 qualification or higher in a Manufacturing/Engineering discipline, however extensive experience will count if this has not been attained Capable of troubleshooting validation issues associated with process development Experience in scientific injection moulding processing Strong analytical approach to problem solving and ability to bring innovative solutions to the process. Excellent interpersonal & communication skills Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively with peers and managers Experience ideally with Fanuc and Demag machines, and Star robots. At least 1-2 years' injection moulding processing & troubleshooting experience Experience working in an ISO compliant environment Skills: injection moulding mould technician maintenance
