About The Team:

We are seeking a Legal Executive to join our Legal & Compliance team in Dublin. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with experience supporting in-house legal teams or busy legal departments. Reporting to the General Counsel, this person will play a central role in ensuring the efficient administrative functioning of the legal and compliance function, while also owning certain repeatable legal processes end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft, review, and manage standard-form legal documents, including:

  • NDAs

  • Bailment Agreements

  • Letters of Authorization / Signature Confirmations

  • Coordinate the execution process for contracts and other legal documents (physical and electronic signatures, DocuSign, etc.)

  • Manage legal document storage and filing systems, ensuring version control and accessibility

  • Maintain the legal and compliance calendar:

  • Track expiry and renewal of contracts, certificates, and filings

  • Coordinate regular compliance events (e.g. export filings, regulatory returns)

  • Support basic export licensing processes:

  • Maintain internal records of export classifications and licenses

  • Prepare routine license applications under supervision

  • Liaise with other departments including Finance, Sales, and HR on various commercial and compliance matters.

  • Organise internal compliance and legal training sessions (scheduling, materials, tracking attendance)

  • Support due diligence as needed

  • Act as liaison with external counsel and service providers for routine matters

  • Provide administrative support to the (General Counsel) and Legal team as required

Qualification and Experience

  • 2 years plus experience in a legal executive, legal admin, or paralegal role

  • Familiarity with legal processes and terminology (esp. commercial contracts, compliance)

  • Highly organised and proactive with excellent attention to detail

  • Comfortable handling confidential information

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and contract management systems

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.   • Supervise and manage Company Secretariat filings and compliance requirements for Irish and international matters
  • Advise on general data queries, data subject access requests, data breaches, data processing agreements and general data protection queries
  • Evaluate intellectual property activities including new developments and trade mark proposals, and advise on ownership, use and potential infringement activities
  • Review, draft and negotiate day-to-day legal agreements (including confidentiality agreements and terms and conditions)
  • Advise generally on corporate legal matters including shareholder matters, regulatory issues and assist with on-going updates to company policies and developing training materials for the business
  • Co-ordination and execution of legal documents generally, assisting in preparing documents for meetings and managing the case management system for the legal team

Requirements

  • Third level Law or Business degree
  • Professional Qualification (Solicitor or Company Secretary)
  • Minimum of 1 years+ experience as a qualified solicitor or assistant company secretary either in-house or in a large / mid-tier law firm
  • Experience in a company secretariat in-house team or law firm providing company secretariat services
  • Strong communication skills
  • Broad business knowledge and ability to understand complexities of Tirlán's operations and business relationships
  • Strategic thinker who is a capable problem solver
  • Ability to work on own initiative and be motivated to deliver the legal department's value-added agenda
  • Ability to multi-task and use a systematic and analytical approach to identifying issues and problem solving with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Be able to define problems / issues at the outset in an objective manner.
