Senior Electrical Engineer
to join our team in Clara, Co. Offaly.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Automotive Electrical Engineer located in Clara. The Senior Automotive Electrical Engineer will take ownership of electrical system design, installation and testing for specialist vehicles including A&E ambulances. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll lead the development and integration of 12V, 110V and 240V systems, ensuring safety, reliability and quality at every stage.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading electrical design from pre-production through installation
- Managing and training electrical technicians and leads
- Overseeing process development and optimisation
- Hands-on involvement in complex installations as needed
- Developing testing protocols and liaising with ECU suppliers
- Supporting fault diagnostics and warranty issues on-site when required
- Creating electrical drawings for tenders and active projects
To succeed in this
Senior Electrical Engineer
role, you'll need a minimum of 4 years' experience in electrical engineering and strong leadership skills. Vehicle conversion experience is welcome but not essential—comprehensive training will be provided.
