We have an excellent career opportunity for the role of Home Care Assistant to join our amazing Hibernia Home Care team working in the Swords Malahide & Portmarnock areas. Did you know that you do not require care experience to work with us at Hibernia Home Care? We're very much interested if you're a kind, reliable, honest and dedicated person and have completed QQI level 5 in Healthcare - Must have 'Care Skills' and 'Care of the Older Person' at a minimum. Pay: We pay excellent hourly rates from €15 per hour with an enhanced evening and weekend pay rate of €7.50 - .00 per hour We have excellent working shift patterns to suit you: Part time or Full time contracts 8am-2pm and or 4pm-9pm Monday to Friday + every second weekend OR 8am-9pm / 5 days per week Our ideal candidate: Proactive person who can use your own decision making skills. Home Care Worker - Shannon, Co. Clare The Alzheimer Society of Ireland is currently recruiting for a Home Care Worker, who will work in the Youghal and Macroom / Ballyvourney Areas. The Alzheimer Society of Ireland works across the country in the heart of local communities providing dementia specific services and supports and advocating for the rights and needs of all people living with dementia and their Carers. Our vision is an Ireland where no one goes through dementia alone and where policies and services respond appropriately to the person with dementia and their Carers, at the times they need support. A national non-profit organisation, the Alzheimer Society of Ireland is person centered, rights-based and grassroots led with the voice of the person with dementia and their Carer at its core. The ASI is currently recruiting a Care Worker who will work with our Clare Home Care Service. The successful candidate will work in assigned family homes in Youghal and Macroom / Ballyvourney Area This is a permanent contract working 20 hours per week. Reporting to the Home Care Coordinator, Care Workers are responsible for providing person centred care to people with dementia, addressing their needs and enhancing their quality of life. To be successful in this role you will need experience of working with people with dementia, older people or people with intellectual disabilities. FETAC level 5 qualification is desirable but not essential. You will need good communication and organisational skills and be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. Salary will be commensurate with the care sector, and dependent on relevant experience.
