**The Role**
+ Manage Business P&L and Balance Sheet, including budgeting, forecasting, month-end closing activities, Capital Expenditures
+ Advise on risk and opportunity for managing cost and growing the revenue and profitability.

+ Preparation of client reports (financial analysis, forecasting, metrics and dashboards) to support the client in their financial planning and month end process.
+ Partnering with Operations teams to review the financial health of studies.
+ Conducting financial reviews to proactively identify, facilitate and drive actions across stakeholder groups.
+ Preparation of internal monthly study report, documenting key financial risks and mitigating actions.
+ Preparation of internal monthly financial reporting packages and financial forecast for operations with insightful commentary and analysis.

**What you will ideally need:**
+ Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with good experience in analysis and insights of financial data and trends.
+ Good Systems experience.
+ Audit & Assurance experience is beneficial.
+ Strong oral and written communication skills.

Partnering with Operations teams to review the financial health of studies. Conducting financial reviews to proactively identify, facilitate and drive actions across stakeholder groups. Preparation of internal monthly study report, documenting key financial risks and mitigating actions. Preparation of internal monthly financial reporting packages and financial forecast for operations with insightful commentary and analysis. Preparation of monthly financial forecasts and budget reconciliations. What you will ideally need: Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with good experience in analysis and insights of financial data and trends. Good Systems experience. Audit & Assurance experience is beneficial. Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to work on own initiative. They are seeking an ambitious Head of Finance and Business Partner to lead their business to commercial success. This role will report directly to the Group Finance Director, acting as their right-hand person and managing the finance function with full autonomy. Your new role * Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring strong performance and collaboration. * Oversee period-end, monthly management, variance analysis, audit, and core internal finance deliverable. * Engage in business partnering with 10 department heads, optimising and driving profitability. * Provide commercial insights, leverage numbers, and identify key metrics. * Collaborate closely with the Group FD and other budget holders on budgets and performance. * Drive cost reduction and sales growth through proactive commercial ideas and solutions. * Manage relationships with third-party outsourcing in the warehouse What you'll need to succeed *Fully qualified professional with 5 to 7 years post-qualification experience. * Strong commercial acumen and experience. * Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with department heads. * Experience in Retail or FMCG sectors, particularly in trading entities or environments, is advantageous. * Alternatively, a background in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Customer-Facing roles would be ideal. * Enthusiastic about the retail industry and its challenges. * Ability to work side by side with budget holders to optimise performance. * Solution-oriented with a proactive approach to commercial ideas.
