As a key member of the Technology and Innovation team, you will drive the development and support of technologies used in our manufacturing operations. This role will collaborate with business owners, vendors, and delivery teams to implement cutting-edge technologies that directly impact how we get products to every patient.
**Responsibilities**
+ Lead the **design and integration** of the Manufacturing Information & Technology ecosystem, ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategy.
+ Champion **Werum** **PAS|X MES (Level 2 Integration)** with automation systems to enable seamless data flow and real-time operational insight.
+ Configure and maintain **OPC (OLE for Process Control)** connectivity and troubleshoot integration issues between systems.
+ Manage and support **OSI PI Historian** implementation for process data collection, trending, and reporting.
+ **Business partner with Direct Manufacturing, Automation, and Manufacturing Support** teams to identify needs and co-develop digital solutions.
+ Own the **technology roadmap** for manufacturing systems, ensuring long-term scalability, security, and compliance.
+ Collaborate with service owners and platform teams to maintain operational systems and ensure compliance with **cybersecurity controls** .
+ Partner with business units to develop **use cases, user stories, and functional requirements** and design and deliver **Proof-of-Concept** **s** **(POC)**
+ Support **regulatory inspections and internal audits;** ensure audit-readiness through documentation, change management, and validation support.

**Basic Qualifications**
+ Master's degree and 4 years of manufacturing or information systems experience, OR
+ Bachelor's degree and 8 years of manufacturing or information systems experience
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems
+ 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with 5+ years in pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries
+ Proficiency with Manufacturing Execution Systems (e.g., PAS|X) and data historians (e.g., OSI PI)
+ Experience with OPC setup, SQL, web services, messaging, and data mapping for system integration
+ Familiarity with GxP, change control, validation documentation, and audit processes
+ Strong experience with process automation platforms
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills

Clinical Nurse Manager 2 (CNM2)/ Information Technology Co-Ordinator Temporary 1 Year Contract, Full time Hours. The CNM2/Information Technology Co-ordinator will report to the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON), Divisional Lead, and is accountable to the Director of Nursing (DON), Mercy University Hospital (MUH). Responsibilities Include: Provide a high level of professional and clinical leadership in all aspects of nursing care. Working with the ADON to support implementation of the TrendCare IT System (a patient acuity, workload management and workforce planning IT system). Practice in accordance with relevant legislation and with regard to The Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland, 2025). Manage patient care to ensure the highest professional standards an evidence-based care planning approach. Ensure confidentiality in relation to patient/client records is maintained. Ensure relevant policies and procedures are readily available and all staff are informed of changes. Effectively manage time and workload to meet changing and developing needs. Support the implementation of QIPs (Quality Improvement Projects) and manage identified changes. Identify user issues and errors and liaise with IT systems support staff and TrendCare team to reach resolution. Support managers in understanding the data generated by their department. Monitor the data to identify changing trends and/or anomalies. Regularly monitor ward/department maintenance settings with ward/department managers to ensure optimisation of the user interface. Support Nurse Managers and staff in using the Safe Staffing and Skill Mix IT to develop efficient and effective nursing resource plans. Coordinate user training to all relevant staff during orientation. Plan and deliver focussed training sessions to address areas for improvement and to motivate and empower staff in the utilisation and understanding of the TrendCare System and MEG System (a Quality Management IT System). Maintain high user engagement for the Safe Staffing and Skill Mix IT System through consultation with users. Engage in effective and professional communication with all users, stakeholders and the IT systems staff. Provide up to date reports to the DON/ADON on implementation, results, QIPs, etc. Be an active member of the local implementation group or any local group as defined by DON. Eligibility Criteria: Be registered in the General Division of the Register of Nurses and Midwives maintained by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI/Bord Altranais agus Cnaimhseachais ns hEireann). Have at least 5 years post registration experience of which 2 recent years must be in the acute area. Have the clinical, managerial and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role. Provide evidence of clinical and professional managerial ability, leadership, communication and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills. **'Manager IT Business Systems PTP'** **role description** : An Ideal person will be someone with extensive experience in Thomson Reuters one source and its various products not limited to One Source Tax Determination, Indirect Tax Compliance, Orbit Tax but also this ONESOURCE Tax IT Consultant is responsible for the end-to-end implementation, configuration, and support of Thomson Reuters' ONESOURCE tax solutions, with a strong focus on integration with SAP S/4HANA. This role requires deep expertise in direct tax configuration within SAP S/4HANA and a solid understanding of global statutory tax reporting requirements, including e-invoicing, e-ledger, and SAF-T reporting. The consultant will work closely with tax, finance, and IT teams to ensure compliance, streamline tax operations, and support digital tax transformation initiatives.
**Functional Skills:** Must have proven experience of implementation, configuration, customization and integration of Thomson Reuters One Source, SAP S4 HANA and Collaboration Modules in a global company.
+ Implement and configure ONESOURCE tax modules to meet business and compliance needs.
+ Integrate ONESOURCE with SAP S/4HANA, focusing on Direct Tax configuration and data flow.

+ Partner with Global procure to pay leaders to understand the Tax requirements and priorities for the SAP PTP systems and tools
+ Working knowledge of OpenText VIM integration with Tax and S4 HANA
+ Knowledge of building integration with some of the country specific requirements in EMEA, Asia and Lat America via 3rd party integrators
+ Provide global training, including ongoing support and guidance, for areas of responsibility
**Qualifications:**
+ Master's or bachelor's degree in finance and Accounting with extensive IT experience in Thomson Reuters One Source and/or ERP Information Systems like SAP S4 HANA
+ Proven experience with One Source Tax Suite implementation and Support
+ Strong Knowledge of Statutory Tax reporting (e-Invoicing, e-ledger, SAF-T) across multiple jurisdictions.
+ Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data integration tools.
+ Experience of working for a multinational corporation
+ Experience in technology implementation and supporting stakeholders through change management
+ Pro-actively contribute to the continuous improvement of technology/business processes through identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes.
+ Take responsibility for Gilead's core business systems, including administration, maintenance, and development.
