Community Service Manager Cat.2 6 months Fixed Term Contract 39 hours Portlaoise, Tullamore, Co. Offaly Job Purpose Responsible for the operational management and ongoing development of services supporting people with complex needs. These are customer focused and cost efficient, and operate within Person Centred Planning frameworks and processes. What we're looking for: A third level qualification in health and social care is essential with or working towards a management element. Full, driving licence with 2 years' experience is essential Project Management, People Management, MAPA Training, Safeguarding Training Experience managing complex services for persons with intellectual disabilities and/or dual diagnosis, including behaviours that challenge. Proven leadership in strategic planning, service delivery, and team motivation with strong interpersonal and organisational skills. Demonstrated ability to engage with stakeholders, funders, families, and community networks to ensure high-quality, person-centred care. High standard of accuracy and precision with excellent organisational skills. Strong financial and analytical skills. Strong presentation and influencing skills; the ability to communicate effectively at management level. Your Responsibilities Plan, develop, implement, and manage personal development, health, educational, recreational, and occupational programmes in consultation with service users and staff. Line manage, support, and develop RehabCare staff, promoting teamwork, communication, and best practices, and participate in the on-call roster. Ensure high-quality, coordinated services through regular quality assurance audits and engagement with service user reps, advocates, stakeholders, and funders. Promote the inclusion of service users in the community and create a welcoming environment that reflects New Directions and person-centred care. Ensure compliance with health and safety, hygiene, and national legislation, and maintain proper administrative procedures, records, and equipment. Closing Date: 21st July 2025 Salary starting from point 1 €57642.1 to point 5 €61638.51 Pro Rata and is subject to negotiation depending on experience and qualification.
