If you're a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic or doctor, you could use your skills in a different way as a functional specialist. At Capita, we're looking for compassionate and detail-oriented professionals to join our Health Assessment Advisory Service (HAAS) as Functional Specialists. In this role, you'll use your clinical knowledge to carry out functional assessments and compile evidence-based reports that help the Northern Ireland Department for Communities (NIDFC) make informed decisions about benefit claims. Location: Belfast + 9 sites across Northern Ireland - Armagh, Ballymena, Coleraine, Dungannon, Enniskillen Foyle, Newry, Omagh and Portadown. Hours: You'll be contracted to work 7.5 hours per day, 37.5 hours per week (full time), you'll be able to agree your actual working hours with your line manager after training. Working patterns will be between the hours of 8am and 8pm. Salary: £38,500, increasing to £9,500 upon meeting approval + Excellent Benefits + Over 100 CPD Hours in First 3 Months. Opportunity of Overtime at a significant higher rate What You'll be doing : Conduct telephone assessments and face-to-face functional assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions. Compile clear, concise and factual medical reports - no treatment or diagnosis required. Collaborate with regional managers and administrators to meet service level agreements. Use IT systems to support clinical decision-making and report writing. Embrace ongoing feedback and professional development. What We're Looking for : One year's post-registration experience as a nurse (RMN, RNLD, RGN), occupational therapist, physiotherapist, paramedic or doctor Fully registered with a relevant UK regulatory body (NMC, HCPC, GMC), without restriction or conditions and with a valid PIN Strong interpersonal, communication, and report-writing skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). A professional, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset. Willingness to undergo BPSS security clearance. Successful candidates will be required to successfully complete government baseline personnel security standard vetting. + Extensive Strategic Account Management experience (minimum 3 years) and experience leading customers through complex challenges.
+ Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, in English.

The successful Engineer candidate will have: A relevant degree in Civil Engineering Experience working as a Site Engineer Excellent communication, problem-solving and IT skills An up-to-date knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations The right to work in the EU Roles and Responsibilities The role requires the management of the day-to-day activities of a direct labour workforce of up to 25 personnel and specialist sub-contractors. Production of method statements and risk assessments and checking that works are carried out in accordance with such documentation. 2. Setting out including levelling / Total-station / GPS work. 3. Monitoring the works and ensuring that they are carried out in accordance with the design drawings and specification. 4. Supervise civil engineering activities such as excavation, shuttering, steel-fixing, concrete works, pipe / culvert lifting and placing etc., and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety procedures and legislation 5. Daily record keeping including Daily Allocation Sheets and Plant Sheets, site progress photographs. 6. Management of sub-contractors. 7. Providing assistance with the procurement of goods and services. 8. Attending site meetings. 9. Liaising with the local authority and stakeholders including statutory agencies. 10. Quality management including pre pour inspections. 11. Ensuring that any specified environmental controls are implemented during the works. 12. Maintaining of as-built records.
