We Have Two Roles Available

• HGV Class 2 Driver: Full-time role driving a range ofClass 2 vehicles, including skip, RoRo, and bin lorries.
• Multi-Skilled Driver: A full-time role involving a mixture ofHGV Class 2 andVandriving.

• A minimum of2 years of professional driving experience.

PALS Preschool, Finglas, is an early intervention centre for autistic children. We are currently recruiting enthusiastic tutors for our preschool classes.

The hours would be 8.30am to 5.15pm five days per week.

We require 1 driver for full time nightshift.

Hours of Work

The successful candidates will be employed on a full-time permanent basis, working 45 hours per week.

Job Requirements

• Abide by health and safety requirements.45

• Conduct daily walk around checks on a regular basis of both the lorry unit and the trailer/ fridge, checking tyres, brakes, lights, oil, water and fuel levels and general condition of vehicle.

• Drives vehicle from depots to loading / unloading points in accordance with schedules.

• Adhere to speed limits at all times and drive with care and attention, being aware of other vehicles, road users and pedestrians.

• Adhering to all relevant driving laws, regulations and company policies.

• Treat with care and attention and respect all items of customer and company property.

• Communicate any problems immediately to the appropriate Operations Manager, Planning Managers, Compliance, or the Fleet Maintenance Manager.

• Deal with customers in a courteous, professional, and efficient manner at all times.

• Refuel on a regular basis and show and practice good fuel saving efficiencies when out on the road.

• Abide by drivers' hours, tacho and rest periods.

Qualifications

- Valid CleanCategory C, C1, CE, and/or C1E HGV driving licence or equivalent.

• Driver CPC compliance with valid and up to date driver CPC Card or Code-95 on driving licence.

• Valid and up to date digital tachograph card with a full understanding of tachograph requirements.

• Previous experience of Fridge & Curtainside Work

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

• Good understanding of safety procedures.

• Flexible approach to working hours.
