Annual Leave Entitlement: 33 days per annum Overview of the Post: The Clinical Specialist SLT will join our Children's Disability Network Team and will develop and provide specialist supports in FEDS with a primary focus on dysphagia across the fourteen CDNTs in Cork and Kerry. The Clinical Specialist SLT in FEDS will support all fourteen CDNTs in this region by providing guidance and training for staff across services in the region. The post holder will take a lead role in the development of the strategic direction of the FEDS service and wider regional DRESS developments in Cork and Kerry in conjunction with SLT HODs and relevant stakeholders. And vi) Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Speech & Language Therapists Register maintained by the Speech & Language Therapists Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued. A minimum of 5 years post qualification experience as a Speech and Language Therapist. A minimum of 4 years experience working in the area of paediatric FEDS with advanced level competencies and skills in this area.
