The CRP is an Irish company, specialising in undertaking clinical research trials for a range of different organisations. We are looking for a Clinical Research Assistant to join our growing team. The position will suit somebody who is interested in the field of clinical research, enjoys patient interaction, and has great attention to detail and good IT skills (Word and Excel)
This position is primarily responsible for the accurate completion of visit procedures and collection of information for study patients according to protocols, and for protecting the health, safety, and welfare of research participants. A medical background is preferable but not essential; however the successful applicant will have a strong interest in working in a medical environment.
Duties
- The Research Assistant will support the day-to-day administration of the studies working closely with the research staff/ manager.
- Support the project and ensure trial delivery.
- Oversee the collection of qualitative and quantitative data
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work without direct supervision, paying close attention to detail and bearing independent responsibility for data accuracy
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects with the ability to handle several responsibilities and work under tight time constraints
- Proven experience in dealing with all levels of staff in responding to a wide range of tasks/duties
- Ability to use tact, discretion, and sound judgment when dealing with confidential information
- Proficiency in MS Excel - including basic functions and formulas, Word, PowerPoint
- Familiarity with database management tools would be a plus
- Actively participate as a member of a research team.
- Attend and contribute to relevant meetings.
- Work with colleagues on joint projects, as required.

Position Summary:

Responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
- Manage required study activities for assigned Project Managers throughout the lifecycle of the studies
- Maintain study calendar, including onboarding and training calls
- Manage the preparation, review, and finalization of study documentation and reporting requirements
- Communicate effectively with external stakeholders, including our clients' operations representatives, to ensure that required documents are finalized efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with Scout's values and business needs

The ideal candidate will have the following experience, skills, and knowledge:

- Knowledge and understanding of foreign currency and ability to convert to USD
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet Explorer)

A surge in the number of young children suffering from higher levels of anxiety identified by school principals has prompted the creation of a community-wide positive well-being initiative led by the 'It Takes A Village Community Group'.
'It Takes A Village' is a positive well-being initiative borne out of concerns expressed by teachers in primary schools located in the Greystones and Delgany areas of County Wicklow. The initiative seeks to build a community of services to assist children, families and teachers in need of help with issues around anxiety in young children in the eight primary schools in the catchment area.
As the Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for managing the overall clinical governance of the therapy programme across up to 8 schools in Greystones and Delgany, Co. Wicklow. You will hold clinical governance for the work of 2 play therapists who will receive clinical supervision externally. You will provide therapy inputs to families, school teachers and school principals in the form of group sessions and workshops. You will be directly involved with the implementation, and monitoring of therapy interventions aimed at supporting children and their families. You will work in the context of a broad programme of school supports such as those provided by NEPS and Department of Education & Science to ensure alignment and consistency with their policies and procedures.
Your role will include overseeing the delivery of the in-school play therapy programme and ensuring that the programme runs efficiently and effectively.

Audiology Medical Services, one of Ireland's leading independent Audiology company's is looking to recruit an ambitious, confident and qualified Diagnostic Audiologist for their Dublin clinics.
Duties for this role include (but not limited to):
- Selecting and completing a full range of appropriate routine diagnostic assessments in children and adults such as Otoscopy, Puretone, visual reinforcement testing, performance audiometry, otoacoustic emissions TEOAE and DPOAE, tympanometry, including multiple frequency tympanometry, speech audiometry and speech & noise testing.
- Selecting age-appropriate conditioning paradigm and age-appropriate reinforcement techniques
- Interpreting client test results, explaining hearing loss to client & parent, deciding individual management plans in conjunction with client and discussing realistic expectations
- To undertake the provision prescription fitting, ear mould selection including type, tubing and venting requirements and management of hearing aids in adults
- Advising and completing reviews on hearing aid adaptation process and communication tactics
- To counsel patients and or parents, carers on matters relating to hearing aid and tinnitus management
- To organise onward referral, if necessary and to work as appropriate with other professionals including ENT Consultants, Visiting teachers of the deaf, Paediatricians, Psychologists and Speech and Language Therapists
- Ensure that all procedures used in the service are adequately documented and that this documentation is kept up to date
- Actively participate and contribute to departmental audit and research projects
- Ensure that equipment and facilities used for clinical testing are in good working order and calibrated at appropriate Intervals
- Completing industrial hearing tests as per HSA guidelines and completing full report for same
- Completing micro-suction; using a video otoscope to inspect ears and completing wax removal using the most appropriate method (further training will be provided, if necessary)
