Overall accountability for the cloud domain architecture roadmap incorporating best practices to support PTSBs business objectives. Lead and drive the Cloud Centre of Enablement (CCoE) to ensure effective cloud adoption across the organisation. Define and enforce cloud governance, security, and compliance standards in alignment with PTSBs regulatory requirements. Encourage and foster engineering best practices across development and infrastructure delivery teams with a focus on fast flow. Requirements: Minimum 7 years? experience across multiple IT roles with at least 5 years? experience in Cloud Architecture, Engineering or Operations roles for large, regulated FSIs. Experienced in leading cloud transformation initiatives within a complex organisation, including development of Cloud Strategy. Experience in AWS or Azure well architected frameworks and understanding of core SRE concepts. Technical knowledge of Public/Private Clouds with a specialism in AWS, Azure or GCP, including delivery of cloud deployment patterns. Proficient in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation or Bicep as well as container mgmt. platforms like OCP. **Role Description**

+ Evaluate all new applications and systems for security requirements and risk, creating allowance lists and policy revisions as needed.
+ Devise and implement testing plans for security systems, training initiatives, incident response and management plans, monitoring and reporting systems, and disaster recovery plans.
+ Work with business unit leads and compliance teams to set security risk objectives, develop operational policy and guidance, and determine budgets for security systems.
+ Partner with IT systems and network infrastructure teams to develop and implement security policy and configurations for corporate devices, connections and data resources.

The Digital Customer Success team drives growth for Microsoft by helping customers realize the value of the Microsoft Cloud. **Responsibilities**
**The Cloud Solution Architect will be responsible for:**
+ Business Relationship Owner: Build coalition of support (IT and business) with customer. Define specific technology outcomes that align to customer strategy.
+ Portfolio Management: Manage a dedicated portfolio of customers while preventing churn.
+ Operationally Excellent: Follow processes, systems, and documentation as expected; identifies issues or barriers to efficiency. Recommends improvements and partners to implement Azure solutions.
+ Consumption: Conduct analyses into what customers are using versus needs. Drives greater consumption (cloud and support) with customers based on analysis of both usage and needs. Leverages insights to provide guidance and recommendations to customers; drives, retains, and optimizes customer consumption
+ Technical Acumen: Apply technical knowledge and customer insights to create a modernization roadmap. Architect solutions to meet business and IT needs, ensuring resources and infusing key Infrastructure technical viability of new projects and successful deployments, while orchestrating key technologies
+ Executive Presence: Engage with and influence business and IT decision makers by providing feedback or insights to help customers define and realize their digital and business transformational targets. Influences others to help meet customer needs and prioritize efforts accordingly. Recognizes systemic issues to resolve.
+ Technical Leadership: Leverage best practices to guide customer strategy and future growth for Microsoft by cultivating customer affinity with Microsoft programs/solutions that drive impact for the customer and establishing Microsoft as a leader. Provide feedback to Microsoft on customer development needs, customer blockers, or mitigation strategies.

**Qualifications**
**Professional:**
+ Sales and negotiation experience, technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, technical sales experience, or related work or internship experience OR equivalent experience.
**Technical**
+ Experience in one or more of the following: designing architecture, networking, container services, data center migrations or database administration, design and architect experience in data analytics, coding/development, cloud-based solution designs, migrations or management of technology.
+ Relevant certifications from Microsoft of competitive platforms of similar product (e.g., AZ104 + AZ 303/304/ or 305, DP 203/204) OR equivalent certifications (AWS, GCP).
**Education**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field AND sales and negotiation experience, technical architect, technical consulting, design and implementation, technical sales experience, or related work or internship experience.
**Fluency in German is a must.**
