**Responsibilities**
+ Successfully coordinate and collaborate with a global team of Cloud Operations Engineers who are tasked with ensuring our uptime guarantees to our Atlas customer base
+ Help scale the worldwide Cloud Operations Engineering team with the strategic implementation and refinement of new processes and tools
+ Assist in scoping, designing and deploying systems that reduce Mean Time to Resolve for customer incidents
+ Monitor and detect emerging customer-facing incidents on the Atlas platform; assist in their proactive resolution
+ Automate routine monitoring and troubleshooting tasks
+ Diagnose live incidents, differentiate between platform issues versus usage issues, and take the next steps toward resolution
+ Assist in performing root cause analysis after incident recovered; identifying any breakdowns in processes or workflows that contributed to the event and what changes need to be made to prevent similar events
+ Contribute to documentation of corner case scenarios, troubleshooting workflows and SOPs.
+ Work alongside our product management, cloud engineering and support organizations by identifying areas for improvement in the management applications powering the Atlas infrastructure

+ Engineers in this role design and develop cloud-based services, APIs, data pipelines, and microservices using technologies such as C#, .NET, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, and Kafka, with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and reliability.
+ Success in this role requires strong technical skills, collaboration across engineering, product, and QA teams, and a purpose-driven mindset centered on ensuring accurate, secure, near real-time data delivery that supports better clinical decision-making.
**Key Skills & Experience**
+ B.S./B.A.in Computer Engineering/Science or technically related
+ Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years experience
+ 4+ years experience delivering software using .NET Framework.
+ 2+ years of experience in a public cloud environment (preferably AWS)
+ 2+ years of experience developing applications leveraging Kubernetes.
+ Experience with CI/CD pipelines and source code control and artifact tooling (git, JFrog, etc.)
+ Experience with SQL
+ Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
**Nice to Have:**
+ 2+ years of experience leveraging Kafka or similar streaming technologies
+ 2+ years of experience with monitoring stacks (ELK, Dynatrace, CloudWatch, etc.)
+ Refactoring a monolith into microservices
+ Experience using BDD and Gherkin
+ Experience at a Medical Device Company
