Your Impact

The dCloud Platform team are looking for a versatile DevOps/Cloud Engineer to design, manage and support our application environments running in AWS, as well as build/support and enhance various toolsets used in our public cloud and on-prem environments. You will focus on innovating, automating and developing robust solutions for infrastructure creation and continuous application delivery.
You will be responsible for:
- The design, build and management of application environments in AWS using a variety of cloud services such as EKS, VPC, Cloudfront, S3, RDS, Route-53 etc
- Providing technical direction in the design and implementation of an observability/monitoring stack for cloud native applications and infrastructure services
- Management, support and evolution of existing CI/CD processes leveraging tools such as ArgoCD, Jenkins, Github Actions, Terraform, Ansible etc in accordance with GitOps and IaC best practices
- Working with Operations to monitor and troubleshoot issues arising in AWS environments
- Providing leadership in adopting and implementing solutions to ensure security best practises are maintained throughout the SDLC and to maintain ongoing compliance with Cisco Infosec requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Systems and solutions architecture experience with the design and creation of application environments running in a public cloud
- Experience supporting mission critical global services and knowledge of monitoring/alerting/observability systems (Grafana, Prometheus, DataDog, Splunk, OpenTelemetry etc)
- Demonstrated expertise and hands-on working knowledge of open source automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Git etc
- Deep proficiency with container and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- 5+ years of work experience as a Systems Reliability Engineer, DevOps Engineer, Cloud/Software Engineer or Platform Engineer with expertise creating infrastructure automation
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python, Golang or other languages commonly used in the systems automation world
- Experience or knowledge of Test Automation frameworks/methodologies (desirable)
- Proficiency with troubleshooting systems and applications throughout the entire stack
- A solid working knowledge of Linux (Redhat, Ubuntu etc)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills: Should be able to create detailed technical documentation on all projects/processes being rolled out. Should also be able to providing technical trainings on projects/processes being implemented

Employees on sales plans earn performance-based incentive pay on top of their base salary, which is split between quota and non-quota components. For quota-based incentive pay, Cisco typically pays as follows:
.75% of incentive target for each 1% of revenue attainment up to 50% of quota;
1.5% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 50% and 75%;
1% of incentive target for each 1% of attainment between 75% and 100%; and once performance exceeds 100% attainment, incentive rates are at or above 1% for each 1% of attainment with no cap on incentive compensation.
For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

About the RoleWe're looking for a proactive DevOps Engineer to join our growing infrastructure team. You'll take ownership of our AWS-based environments, build scalable automation with Terraform and Jenkins, and help us maintain secure, high-performing systems.
You'll have a real voice in infrastructure decisions and the freedom to implement your ideas.
Your Daily Work- Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure with Terraform / Terragrunt
- Build & optimize Jenkins pipelines for CI/CD
- Automate with Puppet, Shell, and Python
- Monitor performance with Grafana and Prometheus
- Troubleshoot issues & collaborate with developers
- Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Terraform, Terragrunt
- Experience with Jenkins, Git, Linux, and Puppet
- Scripting skills (Shell or Python)

POSITION OVERVIEW
KKR is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Lead Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automation pipelines, who is eager to grow their skills in a dynamic environment. You'll work closely with developers, QA engineers, and senior DevOps engineers to streamline deployments, enhance infrastructure reliability, and support our development lifecycle through best practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of scalable and secure infrastructure using Terraform and AWS.
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application builds, tests, and deployments.
Engage in an agile, iterative software development process
Collaborate with development teams to support and improve build and release processes.
Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines to ensure system reliability and performance.
Contribute to internal documentation related to infrastructure, deployment, and support processes.
Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and team stand-ups.
QUALIFICATIONS
5-10 years of professional experience in a DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering role.
Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) – EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, RDS, VPC, etc.
Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management.
Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar.
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Basic scripting knowledge in Bash, Python, or similar languages.
Understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
