This role is part of the commercial strategy and operations team, focused on supporting the Firaxis studio and ultimately driving profitable 2K growth. We partner across the organization through influence and relationships to orchestrate a unified, effective, and scalable effort. At any given moment we are the supporter, leader, approver, and/or responsible party with other internal and external teams.

What We Need
The Analyst will lead and assist in the development of various in-depth financial forecasts and strategic decision models, helping the commercial team chart new ways to drive continued growth while optimizing existing lines of business. The successful candidate must be highly analytical and detail oriented, demonstrate expertise in developing and maintaining complex financial models, and provide succinct and compelling analyses to inform a wide range of business decisions.

What You Will Do

  • Support commercial leads on developing and maintaining holistic sales and player engagement forecasts, detailed sales reporting and analysis, financial / profitability models and discounts / promotional analysis
  • Develop accurate, defensible forecasts for an array of business and monetization models (premium, free-to-play and more)
  • Incorporate managerial and financial accounting principles and best practices into the commercial team's financial analysis and decision making (i.e., revenue, contribution margin and profitability analysis, revenue recognition/deferrals, NPV, IRR/CAGR, sensitivity analysis, etc.)
  • Prepare and verify financial data for inclusion in commercial reports and presentations, including monthly business reviews and ad hoc business questions and analysis
  • Support the commercial team with modeling, analyzing and/or managing complex in-game or post-purchase economies (i.e., conversion rates, ARPU, ARPPU, ROI, margin analysis, revenue growth/cannibalization, etc.)
  • Contribute to the creation and optimization of key financial dashboards, reports and analysis across 2K's diverse product catalog

Who We Think Will Be a Great Fit

  • 3+ years of sales forecasting and financial / profitability analysis
  • Financial forecasting and scenario modeling experience, ideally in video games, e-commerce and/or mobile in-app economies
  • Ability to successfully navigate a globally dispersed and/or matrixed organization
  • Expert level Excel (i.e., Excel functions, statistical functions), Tableau, Snowflake / SQL as needed to research and build and maintain complex financial models
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex financials to team members, with a proven track record of working across all levels of the organization and personality types
  • Experience using Snowflake / SQL (or ability to learn) to generate data pulls to establish benchmarks and inputs into new financial forecasts and scenarios

In-office expectations

Office-assigned Stripes in most of our locations are currently expected to spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. This expectation may vary depending on role, team and location. Pay and benefits

The annual salary range for this role in the primary location is €93,200 - €139,800. This range may change if you are hired in another location. For sales roles, the range provided is the role's On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and specific location. Job Description

The VP Research & Market Analysis is tasked with producing, distributing, and presenting in-depth research covering airlines, aircraft & orders, OEMs and the broader aviation sector. This position plays a critical role in providing actionable market insights and up-to-date data to inform strategy and competitive positioning.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse airline and lessor fleets to support business decision-making.
  • Liaise with aircraft appraisers to track and interpret trends in aircraft valuations and lease rates.
  • Aggregate and maintain comprehensive pricing data—including rentals and values—in collaboration with the pricing team, ensuring market intelligence is current and accurate.
  • Ensure the senior management team is kept abreast of all market information and trends especially values and rentals.
  • Conduct market and competitor research to support pricing analyses and evaluate leasing opportunities, monitoring industry and economic trends for business adaptation.
  • Prepare and present regular market updates on aircraft values, lease rates, trading, and macro trends to senior management and external audiences.
  • Deliver regular monthly and quarterly market updates, as well as provide timely responses to ad-hoc research requests
  • Support creation of marketing materials for investors and provide news-driven insight for investment analysis and analytical models.
  • Assist transaction approval processes and draft presentation materials for internal committees.
  • Build relationships with OEMs and appraisers, assessing the impact of production rate and aircraft developments.
  • Help establish aircraft rating methodologies, informing acquisition and disposal strategies.
  • Support company-wide long-term planning and financial analysis.
  • Lead market analysis projects, synthesizing research and pricing data for strategic recommendations
  • Build and maintain a comprehensive commercial transaction and market data database.
  • Attend industry events to stay updated on aviation trends and deepen market understanding

Required Experience

  • 5-7 years' Research and Analysis experience within the Airline/Aircraft Leasing industry with additional experience in banking, financial services or strategy consulting
  • Experience with transaction pricing, risk analysis or aircraft valuations
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or Engineering
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint, Power BI
  • Experience with large datasets
  • Demonstrated proficiency in oral and written English
