This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours, working Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm. This role is fully remote, and we're looking for someone who is confident and experienced in working effectively in a remote environment.

Abbott Nutrition produces a range of infant formulae in all pack sizes under the brand name "Similac". The essential ingredient is liquid skim-milk and this is combined with carbohydrate, vegetable oils, vitamins and minerals. The product is blended, pasteurised, dried and packaged at the site and once packaged, is distributed to Europe, Southeast Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Canada.
Established in 1975, Abbott Nutrition in Ireland is the largest powder manufacturing facility for the production of infant formulae within the Abbott Corporation worldwide. **PURPOSE OF THE JOB**
+ This role will provide leadership in the areas of Plant Compliance, Strategic Compliance initiatives, cGMP and Food Safety within Manufacturing. This will include a responsibility in providing direction for continuous improvement.

Work with Client Trade Compliance team and Third-Party Logistics Service Providers (aka 3PLs) to make sure that all international shipments comply with export & import regulations
Complete Due Diligence on all external parties in alignment with Legal requirements

Position Compliance Officer KennCo Underwriting Limited are currently recruiting for an additional Compliance Officer to join their team. Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you will work with your colleagues in the delivery of compliance monitoring and guidance, along with operational oversight to ensure compliance with applicable regulation across all departments. This is a hybrid role based in Rathfarnham, Dublin 16. Key Responsibilities: Conducting internal audits and gap analysis. Monitoring and reporting on errors and breaches and working with the business to remediate them. Monitoring and reporting on customer complaint data and completing complaints analysis reports. Managing Data Access Requests and assisting the business with data protection queries. Reviewing and updating company policies, procedures and documentation. Assist with the development of internal compliance-related training. Assist with Insurer audits. Maintaining an up to date and in-depth knowledge of the current and emerging regulatory requirements as applicable to the business. Ensure assigned compliance tasks under the Compliance Plan are completed accurately within required timeframes, e.g. reports for Insurers, CPD checks, financial sanction checks. Provide compliance guidance and direction for all business requirements, covering all applicable regulatory requirements including for example but not limited to the CPC, CICA, DMD, IDD, MCC, GDPR. Essential Experience: Applicants must hold at least one of the following qualifications: CIP or a Data Protection Qualification, and either have or be working towards the Professional Diploma in Compliance. Minimum 2 years experience in a Compliance, Data Protection, Audit or related role within the insurance industry in Ireland. **Insurance experience is essential** If you are interested in this position, please forward a copy of your CV and covering letter when clicking apply!
