CAD Technician – The Role
- Drafting of engineering drawings to high standard suitable for use in construction and engineering reports
- Development of 3D models
- Agreeing workload priorities with CCC management and operating in accordance with CCC CAD standards.
- Any other duties, as deemed necessary, that fall within the remit and level of the position.
What You Need – The Skills and Competencies
- A recognised degree or certificate in an engineering discipline would be of benefit. Relevant software courses with a combination of work experience will be considered as an alternative
- Knowledge of drawing software tools – Autodesk and Autodesk Civil 3D
- Knowledge of Revit and Navis Works desirable
- Relevant industry experience in detailed drafting within a civil infrastructure design environment is desirable
