At AECOM we are currently recruiting for a Construction Project Manager to join us at our Dublin office.
**_Here's what you'll do:_**
Your day-to-day will include but not be limited to the following tasks and responsibilities;
+ Lead the coordination of the project ensuring interfaces are considered and addressed at all stages of the project lifecycle
+ Maintain the Responsible / Accountable / Consulted / Informed task tracker
+ Work with the technical teams in coordinating and managing the design consultants and other external service providers
+ Organise the appropriate design review meetings and be responsible for communicating design acceptance to the Contractor
+ Be responsible for communicating design changes to relevant members of the project team and stakeholders who may be impacted
+ Report monthly on the tasks throughout the project's lifecycle including construction works (during the construction phase) that have been undertaken
+ Maintain the overall project risk register and update at monthly progress meetings
+ Identify opportunities to improve Project Management procedures, templates and products referring ideas to the appropriate line manager
+ Monitor and apply performance management techniques
+ Manage the change control process
+ Manage the flow of project information between the team and the client, through regular meetings and written communications
+ Tangible experience of documenting best practice construction project management policies and standards.
**_NEC Specific Activities_**
+ Review and accept programme submissions
+ Lead and act in the spirit of mutual trust and co-operation
+ Communicate and issue documents as required by the ECC and perform any other duties as stated in the contract
+ Carry out the duties as the Project Manager as required by the Contracting Entity's contract for the Programme, maintaining close contact with the Client in order to ensure the Project Manager's actions reflect the Contracting Entity's objectives for the project
+ Manage the compensation event process so that the Contractor is fairly compensated for any Contracting Entity- initiated change on the project
+ Ensure the Contractor notifies compensation events in good time so that the Contracting Entity is not disadvantaged

As the successful candidate, you will have experience working within our primary infrastructure markets along with having the following qualfications and experience.
+ Post Graduate Qualification - ideally Project Management / Construction / Engineering / Quantity Surveying related
+ In the process of pursuing Chartered Status with either of the following institutions; SCSI/RICS / CIOB / RIBA / EI
+ APM affiliation is a benefit

To strengthen our capability we are looking for a Construction Project Director who will play a central role role in all aspects of Construction Project delivery.
As our construction projects vary in location, the role will require flexibility in relation to travel throughout Ireland and Western Europe.
The role is senior, client-facing, requiring the ability to inspire confidence from the taking of a client brief through proposal preparation and onto construction delivery.
This a hybrid role and the role can be based from our offices in Ireland, Belgium, Germany or Netherlands.
Responsibilities Overall responsibility for assigned Construction Project/s delivery.
Assist with strategy and input to the construction aspects of proposals within assigned responsibilities.
Ensure that the Company's Health, Safety and Environmental policy is implemented on projects within assigned responsibilities Ensure that project are executed in line with PM Groups Scope of Services, Overall Project Execution Plan and PM Groups / Client Contract.
Reports project construction performance to appropriate PM Group Business Units Heads of Construction & Group Construction Services.
Establish and maintain effective communication and co-ordination between construction site(s) and home office departments.
Establish overall construction execution strategies/plans.
For assigned projects, the Construction Director will be the primary local construction contact for customer.
Review the project construction performance and PM Groups performance with the Customer.
Assure execution of projects are in accordance with the project goals, but especially in areas of safety, quality, cost and schedule to Customer's satisfaction.
Ensure a quality PM Group service is provided and protect PM Group's commercial interests.
Ensure PM Group Procedures and Systems are implemented and CM team are aware and follows these systems.
Reviews and approves as required, projects procurement strategies.
Reviews and approves client/PM Group contracts and the PM Group / Contractor contracts.
As required, responsible for formal communication to client, designers, contractors and others.
Contribute to the development of Digital Project Delivery from a construction perspective.
For assigned projects, establish PM Group CM teams and assure personnel are assigned as required to fulfil positions on our CM teams.
Manages resource plans with regards to mobilisation/demobilisation to ensure assigned projects are adequately resourced and in line with PM Group commercial expectations.
Reviews our CM Team performance with the Construction Manager and makes necessary adjustments to teams as required.
oversight of Monthly CM project reports and reviews with PM Group Teams as required.
Oversight of cost reports and ensures PM commercial performance meets the project objectives.
Promote PM Group by demonstrating professionalism and efficiency, establishing credible client and local contact working relationships.
Mentor and invest in career development of construction personnel where appropriate.
Project the Company's image to clients, public and other third parties by ensuring effective liaison and harmonious relationships.
Qualifications Demonstrated capability in Construction delivery within specialized industrial sectors.
(Life Sciences, Food & Mission Critical) Professional Qualification in Engineering or Construction /Project Management desirable.
10+ year's professional experience.
Proven track record in EHS Leadership Excellent knowledge and strong understanding of H&S statutory requirements.
Good understanding of contractual models and supply chain capability.
Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
A demonstrated ability to communicate and influence at management and operation level.
Proven Construction Business management track record.
