Construction Site Supervisor/Engineer - In this key role you will : - Provide daily on site supervision in Dublin to support in terms of project site controls & reporting, project governance & assurance & management of projects. Provide support on programme progress review on site to the Project Manager . Assist with smooth implementation of projects including development of guidelines & templates. Provide advice & assist with the implementation of arrangements required by industry standards, regulations & legislation. You will report to: Project & Assistant Project & Systems Managers, & work closely with various Project Managers, Planners & Task Leaders in the Capital Investment Division. Interact with external consultants, contractors & agencies. The Site Supervision Engineer is required to maintain a working relationship with the following Departments as required including infrastructure & operations ESSENTIAL: A min of 2 years relevant site supervision & project engineering experience in a rail or construction engineering environment. Degree in Civil Eng or equivalent demonstrated mgt & eng capability appropriate to the role & purpose of the position. Excellent understanding of H&S issues in a construction/rail environment. Strong leadership, negotiation & interpersonal skills. Availability to work nights & occasional weekend shifts. Full driver's Licence & a van will be provided to access sites. DESIRABLE: Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) & Valid Safe Pass card Experience of working on a Railway Construction Project. Good understanding of good Project Mgt. Procedures Knowledge of contract mgt. & law. Exp in the delivery of Safety Mgt. Systems.
