**Operational Excellence Lead**
As Operational Excellence Manager at Takeda's Bray site, you will play a key role in driving a culture of continuous improvement across our manufacturing operations. You will lead the site's Lean strategy and Agile Operating System (AOS) roadmap, coach cross-functional teams, and implement impactful process improvements. Working closely with Quality, Production, and Digital teams, you will help streamline operations, increase efficiency, and ensure sustainable performance improvements - all while upholding Takeda's high standards for safety, quality, and compliance.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Drive the site's Operational Excellence (OE) strategy and AOS (Agile Operating System) roadmap.
+ Lead Lean and Six Sigma (Green Belt level) initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
+ Facilitate workshops (e.g. Kaizen events, value stream mapping, root cause analysis) to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
+ Coach and develop site teams in Lean methodologies, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement practices.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional partners including Quality, Production, Engineering, and Digital (DD&T) to ensure alignment and integration of improvement initiatives.
+ Support digital transformation by identifying automation opportunities and data-driven process optimization.
+ Oversee the Six Sigma program, including mentoring Yellow/Green Belts and certifying Yellow Belt candidates.
+ Monitor and report performance metrics (KPIs), identify gaps, and lead corrective actions.
+ Apply Organizational Change Management (OCM) principles (e3+) to drive successful implementation of improvement projects.
+ Support strategic programs like Business Process of the Future and Factory of the Future.
+ Ensure all initiatives are aligned with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
**Skills & Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a technical or scientific discipline; a master's degree (MBA or M.Sc.) is a plus.
+ 5-8 years of experience in manufacturing or operations with a focus on Lean, OE, or Continuous Improvement.
+ Lean/AOS and Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher); experience with Yellow Belt training/certification preferred.
+ Proven track record in leading cross-functional projects and delivering measurable improvements.
+ Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience in change management (ideally e3+) and coaching stakeholders at all levels.
+ Comfortable working in GMP-regulated environments; pharma experience is highly desirable.
+ Familiarity with tools such as SAP, MES, Minitab, and MS Office.
+ Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
+ Fluent in English; strong interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment.

In this role you will be as part of the Business Excellence team. As an Operational Excellence & Lean Specialist, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives across the Kilkenny site. **Summary:**
Scaled Operations is the organisation responsible for managing all outsourced vendor operations that support Meta's Global Operations division. The Scaled Ops Excellence team within Scaled Operations is responsible for managing internal critical business functions, establishing and maintaining effective governance structures and providing comprehensive program management support. The Scaled Ops Excellence team is seeking an experienced program manager to handle complex, global initiatives aligned with and driven out of the Scaled Ops organisation and to help evolve existing vendor risk, compliance audit and vendor security protocols. The successful candidate will enjoy and thrive in working in a fast-paced environment and effectively build structure and inculcate the same within their team of experienced program managers.
**Required Skills:**
Risk Program Manager, Ops Excellence Responsibilities:
1. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the contractual agreement and the regulatory landscape impacting Meta and vendor ecosystem risk domains. Remain current with emerging industry trends and regulatory sentiments, as well as understanding the impact of laws and regulations on Meta's vendor operations
2. Recommend and implement changes in standards and/or procedures as needed to drive greater alignment with the Company's Risk & Compliance strategy and continuous risk management practice maturity
3. Support the Meta Global Operations 3rd party audits program including external provider during annual vendor audits (Partner compliance program)
4. Run 3rd party security assessments, ensuring alignment with internal security standard and operational risk
5. Support the vendor security program on an ongoing basis and ensure coordinated approach with Information Security audit approach steered with the team
6. Works well with data & can extract key compliance findings to provide critical vendor risk insights for compliance and security reports. Make recommendations to improve processes, lessen risks to the business, and improve future audit results
7. Work closely with cross-functional teams, business units and stakeholders to understand their requirements and ensure programmatic solutions align with their needs. Collaborate to develop consensus on program requirements and facilitate their implementation
8. Lead collaboration with cross-functional teams to develop risk management strategies across vendor compliance & security programs. Working with legal, sourcing, and security partners to identify and socialize existing & emerging regulations impacting Scaled Operations
9. Continuously assess and improve the effectiveness of risk processes, methodologies and tools
10. Capacity for approximately 20% international travel as needed
