About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our successful and highly collegiate Banking and Finance Team. The team have extensive experience advising on a broad spectrum of lenders and borrowers on a range of domestic and cross-border finance transactions including real estate investment and development finance, fund finance, corporate debt, leveraged and acquisition finance, refinancings and restructurings.

Associates will enjoy an unrivalled exposure to quality and visible transactions and will be provided the opportunity to build their profile in the market. The team works very closely with the other Dublin practice areas and Maples Group offices to ensure a seamless and comprehensive service for its domestic and international clients.

The role will include the following duties:

  • Advising on fund finance facilities and structures including direct lending by private credit funds
  • Supporting and advising on leveraged acquisition financing transactions
  • Working on real estate investment and development financing matters
  • Advising on enforcement strategies, standstill arrangements and restructurings
  • Acting for a client base comprising domestic and international clients and acting for both lenders and borrowers.
  • Engaging in business development activities, being active in the promotion of the firm and seeking opportunities for new work and cross-selling.
  • Working as part of a team, including supervising junior lawyers’ work and taking an active part in sharing knowledge and experience within the team

EXPERIENCE

What You Bring

The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, a strong work ethic and a commitment to building a legal career within the banking and finance space. The ideal candidate will have the ability to build relationships with clients and colleagues and work well in a team environment. The candidate's qualifications and experience will also include:

  • Between three to five years' post qualification experience in banking and finance
  • Both experience and training should have been completed with a leading law firm in Dublin or a major onshore jurisdiction.
  • A strong academic background, with excellent written communication and drafting skills
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a strong commercial awareness
  • Highly organised, strong transactional management skills, self-motivated and team-orientated

**Position Responsibilities:**
+ Support the Procurement functions with a focus on IT, Marketing, Manufacturing and R&D in the review, drafting and negotiation of a large variety and volume of agreements;

+ At least 3 years of legal experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT Procurement agreements and other Indirect Procurement agreements either at a law firm or as part of an in-house corporate legal department.
+ Experience advising global teams and collaborating with global functions.

Job Overview: KDP Ireland is seeking to add a lawyer to join KDP Ireland's existing legal team with experience in drafting, review and negotiating Procurement agreements within IT, Marketing, Manufacturing and R&D. This role will be based at KDP Ireland's Newbridge facility at least 3 days per week and report to the Sr Director, Legal. The role will focus primarily on supporting Keurig Dr Pepper's global Procurement functions in contract review, drafting and negotiation, and may involve other responsibilities as the business evolves. The position requires expertise in structuring, drafting and negotiating complex transactions, ensuring compliance with intellectual property requirements, data privacy regulations and cybersecurity standards, as well as knowledge of standard contractual terms with strong drafting skills and a business mindset. A willingness to flex and develop expertise in other legal areas is an advantage. This is a challenging role that requires collaboration with various functions throughout the company. Requirements: Qualified lawyer with 6-8 years of experience in international corporate / commercial law at a large law firm or corporate legal department. At least3years of legal experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating IT Procurement agreements and other Indirect Procurement agreements either at a law firm or as part of an in-house corporate legal department. Experience advising global teams and collaborating with global functions. Ability to work in a fast-paced organization; manage and prioritized multiple issues and projects while being highly responsive. Excellent judgment in knowing how to pro-activelycommunicate, escalate issues and propose solutions. Analytical / Problem Solving Skills. Collaborative behaviours, including ability to effectively communicate with business leaders. Strong decision-making abilities and experience working within teams on large projects. About the role

An opportunity has arisen for a proactive, detail orientated, commercially minded solicitor to join our expanding and dynamic in-house legal team. About you

We are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills:

  • Qualified Solicitor in Ireland with 1-3 years post-qualification experience.
  • Working knowledge of key legislative/regulatory requirements, including, but not limited to MiFID, the Consumer Protection Code, the Investment Intermediaries Act, the GDPR and the Data Protection Acts.
  • Experience in corporate law, GDPR, litigation, and regulatory compliance preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for a Commercial Legal Counsel to join our high performing and ambitious in-house legal team. Your key responsibilities:

The work within the EY Ireland Legal team is highly varied and covers all legal issues arising from the running of a professional services business. Much of the legal work is at the cutting edge of business practice as the firm constantly finds innovative ways to help our clients' businesses.

This in-house role includes:

Commercial:

  • Advising on, drafting and negotiating client contracts, such as engagement agreements Master Services Agreements and Global Framework Agreements with our clients as well as other complex contractual arrangements pursuant to which we provide an ever more diverse range of services
  • Technology, Software and Licensing agreements
  • Advising on intellectual property matters
  • Subcontracts, where EY is subcontractor
  • Collaboration agreements
  • Managed services and outsourcing agreements

  • Advising on tenders and RFP responses
  • Advising on, drafting and negotiating contracts with suppliers

Regulatory:

  • Advising on data privacy, AI, DORA and regulatory matters.

General:

  • Providing legal advice to the firm's service lines and its other internal support functions such as real estate and facilities, procurement, finance, HR, IT, knowledge and marketing, providing training and guidance to service line colleagues on legal and contractual issues, developing contract templates, policies and guidance and the opportunity to be the legal lead on firm-wide projects.
